Hi all,
I'm a grad student in the LA area who is trying to do a research project for a class, but needs the assistance of someone who knows or is in the process of learning car mechanics. In a nutshell, for my project I am trying to understand the mathematics and problem solving that takes place while someone is modifying and fixing up their car. Ultimately what I hope to be able to do is use the information I get to help high school students be successful in classroom mathematics. I live in the Long Beach area and would really really appreciate if anyone in this area or close by would be able to help me. If you have any other questions about what my project entails, please feel free to ask me. I would really love to develop this project, so as I said before, any help would be greatly appreciated.
