26x8.5???

Since there should be quite a few people at SDR on the 26th, is anyone interested in doing a little 26x8.5 race while we're there? Nothing fancy...no qualifying...just run whomever you get beside...and if everyone lines up in the same lane, run the person in-front or behind you. No entry...just fun. Sammy and Tom can bring their little tires down...anyone interested? Pro-tree, 1/8 mile of course. I think that Ed would have no problem letting us do it. We can aim for the 7.50-8.0 range so that everyone is competitive...Tom and I can run on motor, and Sammy can...well, his shit might be faster than that, but he wears glasses and can't see the tree very well...he'll be late and I'll drag his azz:D

Of course, if any LS/LT cars show up, then we may have to take a raincheck on the 8.5 race so that we can drag their asses down the track:D

Shit, just drag 'em on the 8.5 tires... I know of several LS/LT cars that most of you guys will already cover on them little go-kart tires.

That sounds like a good idea. I saw on the Chatanooga section where they had a hard radial race, which would also be fun. I think a z-06 won it with 7.90's. I'd like to try that. I can run on these old heavy 18's.

I'm talking about the 26x8.5 class. Anyone have those tires and want to race? There's no point in doing the race unless you have that size tire...after all, that's the only rule:D
