Patch

Ok....It's getting time to start thinking about wheels. I was dead set on some then I saw some new one's from American Racing. Anyway the Car in question looks like this. Color will be basically like Ford Dark Mineral Grey but in a 'suede' version.

Gasser look goes better with suede. Too many Torq Thrusts rolling around these days anyhow. Only Tq Thrusts that look good (to me) are the original ones with the suede spokes (and in a 15", too).

Can't go wrong either way. I know that didn't help. Hey, get both. Track shoes and cruise shoes.

If the car will have any sort of lowered stance then I would go with those

American Racing Trak Stars

Problem is how many 1963 Fairlane's do you see at the track? lol

Guess I need to get a photo of the car from the side and find someone to photoshop the hell out of the wheels to find a good perspective.

If you're interested I've made a coil-over kit for the front of those cars using QA-1 stuff. Can do both single and double adjustable shocks with a few different spring rates. It's an all bolt in setup. I've got pictures of them installed on a 64 Thunderbolt clone or you can stop by and check them out as the car is still in my shop.

The Trak Stars would look the best IMHO.

YAY!!!!!! ok So I emailed ET Wheels, the makers of the first two wheels, and they said they could cut down the Fueler, my choice for rear tire, down to a
15" X 4" to fit the front and match the rear. So now I can have matching front and rear wheels if I want. But I still don't know what I want.
