Auto or 6 spd, if you run worse than a 13.5 in a stock c5 you've got problems. Some 6spd cars blink 12's and most if not all autos are mid to low 13's. Please understand that vette > mustang.

i was giving my 2 cents to this thread because my dad has the same car described above in an auto and with nittos and exhaust it ran a best of 13.5!

as he stated above , its not to go fast in just to cruiz! when he wants to go fast he will get in his mustang!

people who know drive fords!its a auto i think it should run mid 13s and its torch red with chrome z06 wheels it looks good anyways i know it should ru n with a stock gt 5 speed but it will not even come close to a cobra

if all that vette will do is run with a stock gt 5 speed then you need to take it back to where you got it from..I would be embarassed at that..

I have a friend that I work with with a C5 ..Auto and its ran a best of 13.65 , he has 2 friends that have nearly identical cars and they swap races...win one lose one. They are not amatuers by any means , they race at least twice every month , they all run anywhere from 13.60 to 13.90 , a new 4.6L 3 valve GT , 5 spd is just as fast. I had a bone stock 98 cobra that ran 13.70 @ 104 on hard tires ,I have an 07 GT now thats faster than my cobra was , when my 07 was stock it ran 8.90 flat on hard tires and its an automatic.

Corvettes are extremely cool cars though. Its actually the only GM product I would even consider owning.

if all that vette will do is run with a stock gt 5 speed then you need to take it back to where you got it from..I would be embarassed at that..IM SURE ITS FASTER THAN A STOCK MUSTANG BUT IM SO USE TO DRIVING A FAST MUSTANG THE VETTE JUST SEEMS SLOW BUT IT LOOKS GOOD THOUGH

I have a 07 vette have not got to take it to the 1/4 yet but in the 1/8 its has ran a 8.48 Good deal , thats moving out! Auto or 6 spd? You and I would be a good race in my 07 Gt automatic. Yours being stock , and mine with the few bolt-ons Ive added they run similar times in the 1/8th. I will put drag radials on mine before the next trip to the track though because it spins like crazy now all the way thru 2nd. it should pick up a little bit if it hooks
