DSM vs. SUPRA turbo

i know you guyz already seen this kill but it seems no one believes viperlocc. Im the one that he raced. My car is modified quite a bit with the help of the past owner. I do have a big 16g turbo in my car and yes, i do know how to race. Ive been racing for quite a bit now. We had 3 races. The 1st race i raced my own car and so did viperlocc. I launched at about 4500 to 5000rpm and i thought i would have gotten a car or 2 on the jump, since its AWD and he is just RWD. But when we took off, he stayed with me and I had him with a half-a-car lead. I was very impressed on how his nitto's hooked up. I guess he launched at 4000rpm. We stayed equal untill high second gear, then he started to pull on my like a MOFO. At the end of the quarter mile he had me i'd say 5-6 car lengths.

We then had 2 other races out at a diff. place and which we both didnt race our own cars, but we let more experienced drivers race. the person who raced my car is who i call a DSM god, i mean, i yet to find someone who knows a DSM and how to modify and work on them like he does. The first race he skipped my second gear so he took the lead very fast and my car just stoped and reversed. So we did it again and this time the person who was driving my car got a slight jump out of the hole but the supra cought up INSTANTLY and i was amazed, even from behind the cars where i was. The person driving my car said bout 8 car lenghts that he lost to the supra. I underestamated his supra, it is a DAMN nice supra.

I did take my car to the trackes b4 that and ran 12.9 but I know that racing on a track and on the streets is totally diff. and i know im not gonna get 12.9 on the street. From what ive seen supra's are very nice cars and are not to be underestamated. I think my next car is a supra and ill keep the DSM as a winter car, hence the AWD.

i agree. a civic does not compair to a newer Z like yours anyway. a Z is more exotic than a civic will be. Im just getting frustrated with people claiming times with nothing to show for it.
