good used cars under $3000

im not sure what to get .. i am looking for a complete package [looks, performance etc,] so i was wondering what people would consider the best cheap car is for that as i am very into racing and whatnot but i do not have a car. =[

o0o and also how many miles does a 90s mitsubishi eclipse get? or would get until it is bout to die?

the old 90 eclipses are shit....

IMO, they are ugly and slow

but you can never tell about miles and such because if its been rode hard then... shit it might break at 120k miles

but if its been cared of, then maybe 200k miles...

you never can tell


If you want to spend 3,000 dollars... get a 87-89 mustang gt that has been rebuilt, z28/trans am

3,000 is not going to get you racing but it will get a stock mustang ,but chatt. is right if you like to race stay away from inports it takes alot of money to make one go slow never mind fast look for a mustang 87-93 !!
