Really starting to like them.....and they are cheap/reliable and readily available in 5speeds.

(i know, spite me moo)


So anyway just looking for one in respectable condition for a reasonable price....doesnt matter which gen.

Needs to be 5speed though. and preferably no stupid colors.

i don't know if its still there, but there was a red one (can't remember if it is a k00ky or the camry looking front end or what) for sale off of middlebrook somewhere between gallaher view and cedar bluff.

if you get it, m00 will swap wheels with you.

Yeah it's a 97+, but I'm 99% sure it's an automatic.. and it has those god awful red accented wheels. :bash: Good price on it though if I recall correctly.

It was an auto, and those SE wheels looked fucking :gay:


He also wanted like 8 or 9 grand for it.

on a side note.....if you are into that kinda thing....there is an AE85 (1985 celica GTS) for sale in the paper. He wants like 4 grand for it.

let me restate :)

ABSOLUTELY 100% POSITIVELY HAS TO BE A MANUAL TRANNY.

NO GAY colors. (no gold...maroon might be acceptable if its in incredible shape)


looking to spend no more than 6k.

s13/s14 doesnt matter......though id prefer the DOHC engine to start off with as opposed so that 12valve wonder they put in there to begin with.

I stumbled upon a red S13 5speed in my neighborhood today as i was leaving LOL

gonna look into it more in thecoming days...

good price too.

If it's a hatchback and it has a spoiler, check the spoiler mounting area. There WILL be rust. Also ask if they have serviced the timing chain.. if it's a high mile motor it may be rattling, an indication it's ready to skip.

its spoilerless...

but i intend on taking a full on test drive to make sure it doesnt make any funny noises or veer to one side or anything stupid.

I cannot believe how much some people dislike automatics.

On topic though, at least this red one can be test driven. Good luck with your purchase.

Id driven an automatic for 3 years.....to me its just uneventful and boring....

i like being able to change gears freely upon my discretion....rather than mashing the pedal and looking at my watch between shifts.
