What does it feel like to get a 10" tire car into the 5's lol. I think I am going to start slow, I am used to just letting go of the button and putting a finger on the steering wheel lol. It has a plate on it now but I will be ordering the fogger before the next bounty. Will prolly start with one stage and get used to it before trying the next stage so I will be first round duck for a while.

looks like an old style set of TFS high ports.... thats good shit... ican get a bad ass cnc program ran on those things from some peeps i know... the next project will be a 408 13.5 to 1 high port headed. LOTS of camshft. and a fogger.... now thats going to get on with the program..... lots of car mods to be done from where it is now to be able to get some shit like the 408 i want to do down the track but it will happen soon enough. low 5s i think then....:hm:

When you get it running just let me know, as long as your tunning on it and building it, I'm not to worried. From what I remember the few times you ran it on the street you had your ass handed to you, Thats the reason you dont street race.

you guys kill me.. i swear. that STOCK rod ,crank, 70 windsor head ported by yours truly , went 6.84 untuned at 101 on the motor with a c-4. power glide went 7.0s.. 175 shot it went 6.4s ,250 hot went a 6.33 at 108. 6800 rpm done at 600 ft out wouldnt turn any harder. .... bluford when the hell was i getting out ran on the street. once or twice.... and i always gave the move so just how fare is that anyway... i would rather give the move than fool with a flagger and all that shit...what about jason jennings bustin that ass back in the day just after he wore out the regal............. thats about all i remember...ill tell you this. it might be hard for me to fathem going 5.7s with this dart stuff if i didnt do shit like this all the time..... and further more the parts arnt all stock. just the rods, and they are 400m rods with good bolts. the crank is a cast steel scat peice. iv heard of guys making over 1000 hp on that crank. it has a guirdle for the mains. and a lot of R and D ... the intake manifold is going to be with out a doubt tricked beyond belief. im sure none of u have seen 1 quite like this... its as good as a super victor out of the box at least and looks cooler. the heads move more are than most peoples tfs high ports...... and the guys from HVH that have there little bootrh at the track would eat there heart out if they flowed my stuff on there bench.(im sure of it.) there CNC DART PRO 1 PLAT ALUM. 225 W/ 2.08 AND 1.6 FLOWS

at .700 lit is 319
exh. went 234 at .700 lift

my darts on a CONSERVATIVE flow bench(flowed them myself and was repetitive and thorough with my testing) went
ohh and with a smaller 2.05/ 1.55 VALVES (compared to the 2.08 1.60 CNC pro 1 heads)
WENT 210 at .300 lift
304 at .700 lift

exh.went 236 at .700 lift... and did more work to it that i know helped prob. goes in the 240s now... id love to flow my head on there bench ill bet the int. moves 320 on there bench..
so get you some of that....i pridict my car goes 5.99 on 125 shot. at 2850 lbs at least... and no my car isnt that great a street car any more cause its set up so tight. dont need weight transfer in a drag car that has a trans-break and 800 hp on the spray.... it WILL run what i say it will . im not blowing smoke. my only deal right now is time and money... i will have it out very very soon. im still trying to make the test and tune on the 25 th.. that is my goal.. if not it WILL be done by the next weekend...

well, i just dont see why people think that you have to have 300 cc , 400 plus cfm heads and 800 cubic inches to go fast or make power....
i wish the aftermarket wasnt so 'involved' as they are sometimes... given a blank sheet of paper, now design your own engine. do all the porting ,fit the manifold. get those trick flownumbers ,order a cam that someone else didnt choose. and say to your self. iv got a 3.5 stroke cast steel crank, 6.578 long 400m rods, a set of pistons with the wrist pin moved upin the oil ring(flat top). a set of 170 runner dart jr cast iron heads. an old motor sport ,victor jr copy ,intake manifold, 1-3/4 macs , a tricked up 650 dbl pumper.and a roller cam(which this 1 is a BAD MOTHER FUCKER for sure). and say to your self iv got to make 600 HP N/A to run what i want to. then build it and it make 600 hp with the stuff listed above... keep in mind if it had good rods, a 900 cfm carb , shaft mount rockers, 1-7/8 to 2 inch headers , ported super victor intake, lot more cam and 14 to 1 plus . it would make over 650 for sure.and id turn it 8600 plus.... then the fogger .....on top of all that.

IM NOT KNOCKING OUT OF THE BOX HEADS. there is alot of GOOD stuff out there.but to me personally, a CNC program is just a rough in job.. we do alot of work on top of a cnc programm. and fourther more i just dont take anything for granted. if i bout a set of heads like that i would have to take them apart and check every thing....this is mostly about trying to get a set of dart cast iron heads to run with a set of cnc pro 1 heads or a set of high ports that joe blow did...i just like showing people that have lots of money and expensive parts up with some well crafted junk ...

I built 6 motors in 2007 for different people and I bought heads from the following and here is what we found.

RHS. Guides too tight, valve job rushed
Dart. Guides too loose. metal behind valve faces
Brodix. Springs intalled incorrect, valve seat sticking up, not faced correct
MY BMF from CFE were top notch, but the valve angles could have been better.

Now this was not EVERY set but its always a good idea to check them out, like you said. I was just bustin your ass...lol

You must have been smoked up if you think Jason Jenning out ran me I know of two different times I asked him to race an he declined.
I can count on one hand how many times I'v been out ran on the street( Eric Pappageorge ,Dumpy,Eddie S.,The king boys And Tracy from crossville)out of 100's of street races And every time was within a car length That i lost, thats why you don't want to street race me because in the knoxville area you were trying to drum up street races but when I call your ass out you want to race at the track. Thats fine because your going to have to prove it to me because I dont race flow bench's or dyno's .

I can count on one hand how many times I'v been out ran on the street( Eric Pappageorge ,Dumpy,Eddie S.,The king boys And Tracy from crossville)out of 100's of street races And every time was within a car length That i lost, thats why you don't want to street race me because in the knoxville area you were trying to drum up street races but when I call your ass out you want to race at the track. Nope 6.28 ain't bad for sure.. I thought my car for a FI car with no suspension mods but Southsides ran good too. All my car was running at the time was 60's. so we both came along way. You ran off the side of the road... huh. What.

I wanted to run more spray that night but I didn't have much in my bottle so all ran that night was a 90 shot. Not picking or trying to get anything started but I do know that everything I have stated here is a god given fact that I never backed down from racing Henry...and it did start raining that night so racing in the rain is out of the question.

It sure was...I miss it. Just too many idiots that advertise the racing or get the law called. Flyby's and ghost passes...lol fun to remember though. Hell I remember once I raced Larry lance and was in a bass tourney till 2.00 am and had my bro and huck to trailer my car out there for me and I'd meet them out there. And raced finally about 3:30 am. Some funny shit went on in those days. We ran for 50 bucks and he gave me about 40 ones...lol

It's really none of my business but why in the hell would you need to run someone on the street when you got racetracks everywhere? Street racing is stupid, inmature, and very dangerous now days. Not to mention you could lose your ride, wind up in jail, lose your license, hit my family or someone else's then lose your life!!! Street racing is for children who don't know any better. Now if there wasn't any dragstrips around you might have some argument but there everywhere.....

If your worried about others knowing your cars et, I am sure either would black the scoreboards out......... Look at I-40's arm drop nights???? No track prep????
