I'll run my daily driver aginst your daily driver.

No trailer..
No drag radials..
Registered in YOUR NAME..
Current tags and insurance..
Setup the same way you drive it to and from work..

Let me know when you can make it up to a T&T @ I40.
I will need a couple of weeks lead time so I can fix my work schedule.

All I'm going to say is...

"A NICE Car in Crossville,TN and A NICE Car in Atlanta,GA are two totally different things!!!!"

I drove 1000 miles to look at a "NICE" $10,000 car that I wouldnt have given $3500 for.........Man what a pile

Not all of Crossville is like that.. Some just have a higher oppinon of what they own then the rest of the world. Next time PM me I will tell you if its worth the drive. What was it? who's?

I wont name any names at the moment.

The car was built in Crossville and then sold off.I contatced the new owner about purchasing the car and then I contacted the person who built the car to inquire about overall condition.

I was told by both people that the car was in NICE condition and told it just needed to be cleaned up.

So off I go yesterday on my 1000 mile journey to get this car...As soon as I pull up into the parking lot where we were meeting I knew I wasn't buying this car.

Every Body Panel was dented or the paint was flaking off

The "Fresh" Motor was leaking Oil from every spot possible

It looked like a 9 year old with three fingers did all the wiring

Ray Charles could have did a better job on welding in the cage

The interior looked like someone kept their dog in it

And overall the car would have needed to get about $5-6K in work just to become track ready....

Now I know that I was going through another guy to get the car and not the builder....but the seller has only had the car for a short time and most of this stuff looks to be AGED.

I feel like I got screwed by both parties on this deal.....and the Fuel Bill pisses me off.

All they had to say was..."It's rough as a night in jail." and I would have stayed my ass at home.

OUCH! I am sorry to hear about that, one would need to worry about any car that was just recently aquired and back on the chopping block that soon. But the only way to protect others from the same mistake is to make it known I am affraid. Sorry about your wasted trip.

You're a funny Clown you know.....

When someone is asking $10k plus for a fox mustang. You don't go expecting it to look like shit.

You on the other hand would probably give the guy more than his asking price because you thought it was COOL

many here know the car he is talking about but i hate that he wasnt happy when he got to the car. the new owner must have hurt it in ways after he got it dont know but here is what it looked like when it left here as many can account for.

the door trim molding i took off cause it was catching the door and the only other part that had a issue is i let a jack handle fall and hit the driver side qtr panel and put a dent in it. sorry qjp if the car wasnt the way it looked here when you got there cause thats the way i left it.

my car is an original 4 cylinder turbo indy pace car from 1979... it was wrecked and had all '83 front end parts swapped to it.. the title reads 1979 mustang gt. insurance rates it as a 4 cylinder looks like an 83 or 84.....it has the tubo light in the dash and a indy logo on the panel above the glove compartment....ill show some pics later...
