I dont really care for the cheap foamies because that is what they are. CHEAP and dont fly very well. They can discourage a beginner in a big way and make you want to quit in a hurry. E-Flite makes the best ready to fly out of the box foamies on the market. www.E-fliteRC.com is their site. They are sold by Horizon Hobbies in the U.S. Remember just because you are attracted to a plane by its looks does not mean it is the best for your level of flying. Trainers are the way to go. The bigger a plane is the better they fly and are easier to learn on. I have a few electrics myself and still prefer the 30% and bigger planes on glow fuel or gas. 3-D flying is exactly what it stands for 3-dimensional manuvers. I have been flying 30 years this coming July and am willing to answer and help anyone with legit questions.....

PEACE OUT!!!!

I have been flying for about 3 years now and I am going to build me a Aerial Photography plane. Foamies are nice and easy to build and if you crash them, cheap to replace. :) I wouldn't recommend a beginner to get on one but my foamie is not really what you consider the normal foamie, at least in the way I think of them.

All 3D planes I have seen are foamies or depron wonders. I fly a 40 electric and it does well. Easy to fly and very forgivable, except when you hit the ground with too much weight on it and 25 mph winds. hahahahaha
