Rules on Dzus fastners

Are their any specific rules on using dzus fastners on a hood? Also anyone have any tips on these things(ie...instalation, how many to use on a mustang hood)? I will not be using the factory hinges or latch with these..... Also does anyone have any pics of hoods with dzus fastners???
