i recently installed an amp in an 04 civic and it was working fine with the subs, then it just stopped. I looked at it and noticed the power light is not on. I checked all the fuses in the amp and car and they are all fine. Can anyone help me out?

Make sure that the remote wire is hooked up and getting power. Most of the time it is a blue wire, or maybe orange.
It is a small wire that should run from the radio to the amp

i checked the remote wire connection on both the amp and the head unit and it seems to be fine. Its really starting to piss me off because the amp is fairly new and so are the subs. whats next??? thanks for the help

May want to invest a couple bucks in a test light or voltmeter before continuing any further..

is it an 60 amp glass fuse at the battery? if so, i've been having issues out of them alot lately where the inside solders are coming apart and not the actual bar going through the center showing it still to be good, but the solder is not on the ends of the inside to make the connection, i would replace that first. it's around 2 or 3 bucks each at the audio store, i would invest in a few, or you can buy a 5 pack at Best Buy for about 10 bucks

take your amp out an test it straight off the battery, just cross over a wire from the remote to power and run it to batter and ground it, if light comes on, its gotta be in your wires in car, if it dont you may have pushed it to hard and burnt the circuits up inside.
