Chattanooga MX in TN Pitbike Race... 5-10-08

Just got an email from my uncle letting me know everything is finalized and good to go. We've been trying to get a local track around here to get something going for the pitbike guys so now we've got to put on a good show...

Here are the details of the race:

PITBIKE 4 STROKE MINIS, DASH FOR CASH $$$
BEST PART FOR THE PITBIKE RACE, THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY FEE!!

SATURDAY NIGHT MAY 10TH WE WILL HOST 3 PITBIKE CLASSES AT OUR SATURDAY NIGHT RACE, TWO OF THE CLASSES WILL HAVE CASH PAYOUTS!!

10" REAR WHEEL OPEN ( MUST BE 13 YERS OR OLDER)
1ST PLACE = 100.00
2ND PLACE = 50.00
3RD PLACE = 25.00

12" REAR WHEEL OPEN (MUST BE 13 YEARS OR OLDER)
1ST PLACE = 100.00
2ND PLACE = 50.00
3RD PLACE = 25.00

OUR THIRD CLASS WILL BE 12 AND UNDER OPEN TROPHIES 1ST THROUGH 5TH

ALL RACES WILL BE RUN ON A PORTION OF THE MAIN TRACK, PRACTICE STARTS AT 6:00 PM SHARP. RACE AT THE CHATTANOOGA MX RACE PARK, FOR DIRECTIONS GO TO WWW.RIDE-CMX.COM



Sad part is my race bike wont be here until afterwards so it looks like i'll be running a bone stock XR50...:red:

It was an awesome time man... Me, Scott, Bird, Jason, Rusty, Shirley and everyone was out there. There were probably about 20 or pitbikes in the big race. I had to run my stock 50 sadly since my racebike isnt here yet, but I still had a blast! It was more fun then anything being on a stocker...

You should have seen some of the setups, we had guys coming from 4-5+ hours away for the race. A few bikes with $3,000+ in just there frame setups alone, it was unreal what some guys brought out. I sat there staring at this one guys KLX110 that had atleast about $8k in it easy lol, some guys dont play haha.

All in all I ended up finishing 6th, didnt win any money but man I had a ball for being my first time out on a motocross track.

Our camera was messing up, but I believe Jasons ole lady has got some pics that i'm waiting on her to send to me...

Yeah the parking situation was unexpected, it was the biggest turn out to date so Darrel and his crew really didnt expect that many people...

Let me know if ya come out to the next one man, have to hunt ya down and shoot the shit for a sec its been a while.

yeah... no doubt. I have just been watching and I will attend the next one to..I have got to put a new piston in da two fiddy..then will be out ridding again.
