I'm looking for a zx-6r, cbr 600rr, or gsx-r. Whichever I get will be my first bike so I probably won't be doing much racing for a while. Shouldn't take me to long to be ready to kill myself though :p

Greenville has some great deals on 636 and the 600. that would be the first place I would go, now if your looking for the 750 they have them there aswell there prices are the best I've seen.
Not my cup of tea, but if you must have a honda, Rockwall Honda is a good start.

Well, I called around to a few of the shops and none of them have any used bikes that I'd be interested in. I really want to get a 2000 or newer ninja, cbr, or gsx at least 600cc. I don't want anything much bigger than 600 either since its going to be my first bike. I also don't really want to spend more than $3,500 if possible. I've been checking ebay and craigslist a lot, ebay has some nice ones but they are usually 700+ miles away, heh. Anyway, let me know if you here of any deals.

Well I got a bike, picking it up Monday. I would post the picture but my scanner isn't working. Its a '98 ZX6R completly stock, black with the kawasaki green rims. Now all I have to do is get comfortable with it...

Nah its completly stock, 20k miles but it runs like its new. Its really in awesome condition

I want to get a full exaust system, flush mount turn signals, jet the carbs, maybe get some aftermarket mirrors. I don't really want to put a whole lot into it since its my first bike and I'll probably try to get a newer model somtime in the next year or 2. What do you ride by the way?

Do you know of any places where I could get a good deal on a full exhaust system? Or at least the bolt on. I'm looking at this Yoshi tri oval system, I would take a used one if I could just find it.

for 3k that looks like crap, id rather get a 2003 cbr600rr with minor body damage for 4k. Would hand yours its ass.

haha woah woah, I didn't say anything about honda's being a pos or not being able to run. I know that bike would outrun mine. All I said was that was more than minor damage and it was aimed at Aaron since he made that smart ass post, not you. I'm not sure how you came up with "And your an expert with bikes right? Oh so we're playing he said she said? Yeah I probably did say I thought it looked bad, but as you say, I'm not an expert and I guess I didn't really think it would be that cool to say "hey your bike is pretty beat up". And Aaron being my brother in law I figure I could talk to him that way, but I guess not :/. Anyway, you already told me when you brought it by work that day that you probably had around 500$ in repairs, so there isn't much guessing left for me.
