I think that body style would be a big failure at autocross. I'd put a bangin' system in the back...and the biggest big block I could afford/squeeze between the shock towers. ;)

I have a couple of 70 model 4 bolt 350 blocks. Good starting point. But you said you wanted a BBC so nevermind.

i said i dont know what i'm going to do with it. in all seriousness. i'm really thinking daily driver. street/strip type of thing. 8.50 class heads up at 411. some bracket racing. drive the piss out of it. i've got a roller 350. i could get some vortec heads and a good cam and probably run low 8's with it cheap. i did it with a 305. why not a 350

Just don't gut this one. Do like you said, put a good Vortec engine in it and enjoy it. You already have a light weight car to race.

yeah its a 87. a v6 car with a one wheel wonder 3.42 gear. should be a good 8.50 heads up car. thats something ive been working toward is to be able to run 2 cars at the track. 2 diff classes.

I have big block Pontiacs and Buicks take your pick! I even have turbo 400's or 350's for BOP engines!

A 370 HP 455 1970 Buick GS engine in a 87 Mullet that would work!! Only thing is it would be running way faster then 8.50's
