Very nice. Looks like you weren't being timid out there. Aggressive driving is where it's at. I was a puss at my first auto-x in April.

This...is how you drift... If your steering wheel isn't at full lock, then you're not drifting. :)

I was driving it and being disappointed with the low end torque, and pissed off at the "turbo like" top end. Hard to control with a power band like that.

His car needs a 3.73 gear or something. Everytime I needed the gas in the middle section it was just like turbo lag, then it rocketed off into the chicane and I had to try and wrangle the car back to a stable, turnable state.

I don't know what was more impressive about Tony's last pass - that he killed half a dozen cones, or that they were all pointer cones.

Eric, guess its a good thing you got the T-tops, huh?

Who drives that SOM Z28? I just saw it pulling onto HWY 321 about 10 minutes ago.

Yeah, i was praying that they would let me take the ttops out the night before cause i test fit myself with the helmet on in the car with them on...it wasn't happenin.

I always run with mine out, and I've never had issues with any of the local autocross groups I've run with. Otherwise, my helmet hits the trim piece on right hand turns. Besides, thats an easy way to remove weight from the car where you really don't want it.

A guy I work with. He lives in L.C. off of Sugar Limb.
