got there a little late but newc got to make a couple good passes. trimming a little et off every pass now so definitely going in the right direction. won't be long he will be down there where he needs to be. he has went from 8.40s to 5.70s in 5 passes. lol not too shabby.
good talking to blcoday, his car is running awesome! he got a good view of the sky on one pass. those guys will have a 5 second timeslip soon i think. pretty badass for a standard 5spd car!
got to work a few bugs out of the tank and kenneth will be making some good passes as well. got some minor fuel issues. be good to see 4000+ lbs in the 6s.

Thanks. It was good talking to you guys too. I think we can get there with some travel limiters in the front. I'm going to try the 8.5 class starting in June. Newcs car was flying, once you guys get a handle on the Big Stuff programming it will go deep in the 5's.

Thanks I have been building the car since December of 2002. Here is what I have done to date.

1998 Formula hardtop first year of the LS1 cars, 12 pt. roll cage, 346 CI LS1, heads and cam with boltons, stalled auto, 4.10 gears at 3,440 lbs.

The car has been a lot of hard work and it has been fun. It started life with me in December 2002 at 91K miles totally stock not one performance part in it or on it at 3,665 lbs, after I installed the roll cage. I raced the car for 4 years with the totally stock engine with LS1 intake and headers never took the valve covers off ran 8.30's NA with stock transmission and convertor with 3.23 gears, then in 2005 new 3.70 rear end ran 8.00's NA and 7.70's on a 60 hp dry shot, then in 2006 new transmission with stall convertor ran 7.60's NA and 7.30's on a 75 hp dry shot.

2007 brought the pump gas engine change with mild cam, rear gear change to 4.10 from 3.70's due to RPM increase of new engine and more weight reduction, results 6.77 ET- 101 MPH 1/8 mile best to date NA and 10.75 ET - 123.5 MPH 1/4 best to date NA. This on a footbrake stall of 3,000 RPM's best 60 foot to date is a 1.407.

So the journey started at 8.30's NA in 2003 and continues today at 6.70's NA!!! I have but not installed yet bigger fuel injectors, new intank fuel pump so I can use my NOS dry kit with the new enigne setup and I need to install the LPE two step I have so I can start using the transbrake. I plan to do this work when it gets to hot to go racing or if I get time before then.

I have kinda of a bad back which does not allow me to work on the car like I want to. I would have loved to have it as a 6 spd car due to the fact I prefer to shift gears myself like you are doing but I took the easy route.

I can tell you are having fun slamming those gears!!

No question about it, those two fords are bad to the bone, But Glidden or Petty could tune a rambler to out run most...

I hope BG shows up to take on Lynch since the Prostock thing has been alittle slow... I would love for him to come back down and get in line for Tim... You just never know what might happen in the next few weeks..

that is correct!!! glidden and petty are the two biggest names in the n2o and turbo tunning. and id like to see glidden back down also. tim may have the fastest 10.5 car in the country but glidden had the baddest car in a 1/8 in the country in my opinion. car left like a damn rocket here last year
