guys, last year there were alot of cars there running. You can run whoever you want, just line them up and race. They didn't do a 32 car shoot-out last year.

I talked to the man in charge of the event, Jon O'Neal of Street Warriorz. He said anyone can drag race including motorcycles. They will do a special 32-car 'Baddest Street Car in Atlanta' competition some time around 10pm. If you want to enter your car, call him at 419-660-4201. Last year's event was a blast with a lot of fast cars. The skin contest was not too bad either!

hunter02ss----you need to go to brainerd so i can redeem myself from my wastegate issues. i just got off the phone w/ lance at jgs and they are next day airing me a new wastegate on there behalf. so that means your going to have to step up a little. since it seems the last time we ran i was on a bad wastegate...........

Tommy Chapman preps the track for the speedway. He is the same guy that preps the track for NHRA in Commerce. The track was WAY BETTER at the speedway test in early May than it was for the Pinks show at the dragway!:lhdevil:

If you are doing tech for the speedway, I'll bet the competition is glad you are working tech this year instead of slapping their behind!!!

I do have one question...How can you truly prep asphalt? No near as well as you can concrete.

none taken, i saw a mustung that i know is faster than me dead hook on motorthen grab a big kit and got the heck on, and several other guys pick the front up. but you know as well as i do it depends on the set up of each car. among other things.

and to answer you ? you will never get asphalt as good as concrete. but i bet ams is way better than the hole even on a bad day.

My night sucked! I was just trying to get used to the guy flagging and the track as well, and I think I broke the input shaft on the tranny. Time for some upgrades.
It was nice meeting some of you guy's also. It's alway's nice to put a face with a screen name!

No problem.I think the car is still vapor locking but not as bad as it was.When we get that car running right we will have to race again.If we can get these wheels sold we are gonna get some 1/2 inch alum fuel line and hook up the other elec fuel pump.That ole farm truck runs.
