I am thinking of dropping an LS1 eninge in my 88 Gta and am looking for one at a very good price. Can be used/ recked just dont give me a piece of crap that wont even idle right. Hoping that all you people with way to much time on your hands will come through for me and am also wishing the best of luck to any f-body owners out there who want to help!!!!!!! If you find anything just pm me or send me an email at headhunter9@ureach.com

Hey Snow, if your GTA has a 350, why not ust build it, you can get the same power in the end.

was thinking of doing that but just thought an ls1 would be easier to work on because of the computer mods you could do.
before the ls1 idea i was thinking of doing the 383 stroker kit.

doesn't an ls1 swap into older f-body require k member mods

yeah now i am sort of leaning that way now i just have to find the money because when you have the engine out you want to go ahead and work the heads and cam. all of that can be pretty expensive but good suggestion. even though if you still see a ls1 at a decent price let me know. thanks

The money you spend on a "good deal" ls1 motor, and everything you will need to make it work, will never add up to the money or power you will get out of the 350 you already have.In another words, just build the piss out of yours and be done with it,you are asking for a lot of money and time consuming on the ls1 swap,JMO
