Sammy's car sounds wicked with the exhaust set up. I told him that at FFW, hell I thought it was coming apart everytime he left the line!

It leaves pretty good considering gone-in-5 and myself made the rear end in his back yard. It drives st8 and leaves st8 so now I just got to get some springs on the car and it will be set.

Pretty cool race and close. We-todd-did pulled it out though! Time for new tires I guess, it looked like Sammy did some slipping and sliding...kind of looks like my car going down the track...right,left,right,left!!!

Shane....is there something up with your trans? Just sounded weird in the 2nd video toward the end of the track....Just curious. looks like it may have moved a little to the right off the line also. Probably would have been a little closer otherwise. Great races guys

good point, it sounded like it was slipping going into 3rd (direct). If that's the case Eagle/Red Alto has a great clutch kit for 3rd/direct.

He said that he accidently let it hit the limiter, and just coasted the rest of the way in 2nd because he wasn't catching Tom. Something to that effect anyway.

yeah my car revs faster then the tach moves and I was watching tom in front of me and looked at the tach it was at 6500 thats when I shift cause its really about 7k and it was two late it bumped the limiter and I just shifted to 3rd and coasted the rest of the way.

When I watched Shane's TNT pass I was surprised as hell when it showed his time and he had a huge N/T on the back glass!!!

They can turn off the clocks but generally dont when they are having some type of race going on. To me that is the only down side to the SS class

except for p.city there the only ones that look out for the grudge racers by not showing the times.

You can run N/T all you want on Friday nights, but this was a heads up race and not a grudge night. The owners were cool as hell though and let us run our races in between rounds and were happy to do it. Most tracks wont let you run until after the race is over if there is still time left. When we were ready we went up there and within a few minutes they had us on the track.

I dont want to say what I ran simply because I know Shane grudge races and if you know what I run, you will be able to guage what he ran. I will let him tell you if he wants. He drove a long way and did not know the clocks would show times (neither did I). I run N/T's on friday nights but not during races since I run a class anyway. If Im running 5.99 or 6.99 then people obviously know what my car is running anyway, but I did not know they would still show the times with a N/T on the window.
