This is from my buddy on supraforums POSTING THIS FOR A FRIEND...


Red (97?) MKV targa top Supra was stolen from my neighbors house Thursday morning at 3:20am. We think it was some guys that came to look at the car on friday, two black males from Fayetteville. I wouldnt be surprised if the car gets painted to cover up, but the wheels are kind of rare, gunmetal grey with a chrome lip and red pinstriping. There is a sticker on the back window that says "God made turbo lag to give V8's a chance". This is a $40,000 car and it was everything my neighbor had left. He was packed getting ready to move, so everything he owns is in that car. If ANYONE sees this car, please contact the police, and call my cell (919)337-3297.

Well,It still would be pretty easy to spot even if someone did stripe it..I would think they would paint the whole car or strip it for parts.

Sorry to here about the car. My 03 Cobra was stolen last year and it never showed up. That was hard to come home and see $45K of my money gone.The only thing that helped me was that the car was holding value well. It still took me 3 months of dealing with the insurance company to get my money. I hope your fiend has is prepared to fight. I got $1000 for over $15000 in mods and I had all my paper work. I will never build another car like that without spending the money for Lojack. don't real know if it would have help.
