srt-4 problem...

ok i have a 2004 srt-4 and for some odd reason, sometimes the idle jumps up. it happens then i go to change gears or if i am slowing down, it jumps up to about 3000 rpm. i wanna change out the spark plugs and see if that helps, if anyone has any ideas, please post.

have u done any mods to ur car and have u had it tuned since u done these mods? when u push in the clutch ur computer is programmed to idle up untill u come to a complete stop, but it should not idle that high.... i had the same problem with my car after a few upgrades until i got it tuned

yeah but i havent got any mods... just bone stock at the time

Sounds to me like its your TPS sensor (throttle position sensor) , Could be the actual sensor or it could be in the wiring . Go to

And you can buy the sensor there and the wiring fix there.

I would say change or test the Throttle position Sensor!
