The TN Beat The Heat web site is now up and running. Take a look and let me know what you think. Here is a link to the site: http://www.tnbeattheheat.com/
FOr those of you in Memphis who know me you know I blew the turbo on my SRT4 at the track at the begining of this season. I am sure some of you saw it happen at Memphis Motorsports park as it was quite an impressive failure. I think I let out enough smoke to cover half the track. Well the car is back up and running and should be back at the track at one of the upcoming TNT's. Also the Firebird's engine is almost ready. It will be pushing a bit over 700hp on the motor alone and will be set up to run quite a shot of nitrous when needed. We wtill have to upgrade the suspension, gut and rebuild the interior with a full rollcage, and have her painted. But by the opening of TNT in 2009 it should be ready to run some low 10's and eventually high 9's without a problem.
Anyways let me know what you think, and if you are interested in setting up something at the track let me know. I can probably get us a huge discount at the track, much less than the $20 now, and may be able to take care of the entry fee for any of you that fit into the crieteria, which is as of yet determined. If you are interested in racing some BTH members and possibly getting into the track free let me know. I will work on coming up with some sponsorship money to cover our entry fee. If you know any companys that would be interested in sponsoring this time at the track let me know.
