I wondered who's ride that was. Have to say, I believe that was the fastest car there last night!

Thanks, I had a good time and could have made as many passes as I wanted. I think I made 7 or 8 and could have made twice that. Looks like you guys had a good turn out and some fast cars as well.

Yep. Ive got it on a button. Still have a lot of tuning to do. I started off with factory jetting and fuel pressure on both kits just to be safe and its definitely rich but we were just working on getting the car down the track. I'll worry about ET once I get everything else sorted out. We found out tire pressure is critical on that car as well.

It was about a 6.30 car on the vid...but I'm sure that's a little off...I'm thinking 5.90's or so...I guess mopars will run decent:D

It wasn't a 5.90 but with some more seat time and tuning Ill get it where it needs to be.

how is the light car with the big motor going to be slower than the "heavy car with the street motor"

The Scamp motor (Street motor) is actually bigger than the motor in the mustang. The Scamp has a 340 in it and the mustang only has a 318 in it.:stumped: I just got the car together and Im still working out the bugs. Once I get everything sorted out it should run faster than the Scamp. At least I hope it does. The Mustang really does have a smaller motor, just more compression and more nitrous. The Scamp is only 9.5 to 1, the mustang requires race gas.

The motor in the Scamp on that video is the motor thats in the Mustang now. The Scamp now has a 9.5 to 1 pumpgas motor in it and thats the honest truth. Ask Stroker, 89beater, Pangle, coupe performance, or anyone else who has helped me work on the cars. Thats the absolute truth. I dont have to lie about that, the cars run what they run. Both cars are running right now.
