Consider your asses saved! The Grocrecy Gitter shelled the ring gear friday night and will not make the trip south. Worry not my fellow jackasses, I will be there with the rest of the "Carolina" crew.:booty: I will have an alternate in my place just a little 357 with chinese tubro or three.:nod:Hope the weather holds out. Looking forward to seeing everyone if the sky is blue.:cheers:


Wheels and tires are for sale. Draglites 15x7 wiht 4.5 backspacing (chevy pattern) and 26x8.5's mounted with lugnuts. 150.00

You must have good luck with that ford junk.Dads 78 malibu broke a ford 9 inch with the motor thats in my car.And the guy who bought dads malibu broke it again.The 12 bolt in my car so far held up to everything that 406 will put out.Just a thought for ya.

So, let's do a roll call of the SC crew..... I have to work that day, but if I get there early enough, I might try to haul ass down there. If it's dry. I want to know who I can pit with.....

I know for a fact that an 8.8 will easily take 700-1000hp maybe more with no problems. Not a stock one but one with moderate upgrades. Granny couldnt shake a stick at that kinda power :freak:

we used to run 5.0's with a 88 with 33 spline axles. Held up for 2 years, the only thing that happened to it was it spun the tube in the coconut, so we finally got a 9inch.

Yep, warping axle tubes is usually the weak link.

It would have been a good race. I tweaked her into the 70's before the ring gear took a dump.
