I bought this car not too long ago.. when i purchased it the car wasn't running..

since i've got the car running... just a little rough..still seems to have fuel issues.. I try to mess with it every time i get the chance.. The car smokes.. and the throwoutbearing makes some noise every once in a while.. still the clutch engages/disengages perfect.

The car has a carb'd d15b2 in it.. :|

I planned on dericing it.. maybe re primering it.. previous owners spray bombed it blue.. planned on putting the oem hood back on.. having the muffler rewelded and maybe swapping in a d16z6 and making it my DD.. but i dont have the time.

The interior is blue and missing carpet, dash has a tear in it.. not in what i would call ''tip top shape''

This car is 100% rust free..

The car is lowered on springs, and mad tight 14'' jdm wheels :P

I just put new NGK plugs in it & changed the oil..

This car is definitely a project car.. Along with sale of car i will include a OEM hood primered black and some pos carbon fiber muffler..

And for an additional $150.00 I'll throw in a complete b18a1 swap with cable tranny.. I have no history on the engine.. and do not know the condition of either.. so therefor i will not vouch that it's perfect..

The car will be sold as is.

how firm are you on the 1400 dollars? i have a buddy looking for a little turd to get him back and forth daily. he dont have 1400 to spend unless this thing is REALLY going to be worth that kind of money for the model and year.

i know he would really love it if you still had the swap for it :)

what kind of fuel milage do these get in proper running order? do you have stock springs/wheels, and do you know what may be wrong with it?Carb, pump, spark issues. done a comp. test?

Haven't did a compression test, i do not believe the car has spark issues.. because the car starts.. idle's and drives when you only go 3/4 throttle.. so my money is on the carb.. like i said.. i mess around with it when i have time..

tomorrow my plans are to take off the carb.. clean it up and go from there.. then i might take a trip to lamberts to pick up some parts look for a new used carb and go from there..

Oh as for fuel a properly running d-series in any EF hatch.. should pull you at least 30+ mpg.. and i do not have stock wheels or stock springs..

Alright well let me know, i may be interested in it as a DD as i plan on getting a new toy so i need to sell my car, but i cant without a beater :)

my 88 hatch got about 40 -43 mpg depending how you drove it. and this thing is either dpfi or mpfi. If it is dpfi it has a throttle body on top with 2 injectors in it. Thats what i had and their are all kinds of little tricks i learned to get better gas mileage

40mpg hell ya. im getting 22 So i figure if i get a M-F car that gets 40 and a weekend car that gets 15 it will all equal out lmao
