WTB: 2-speed wiper motor for '65-'66 Mustang

I'm looking for a two-speed wiper motor for a '65-'66 Mustang. My '65 had this somewhat rare option, and the motor went bad. To be honest, I'm tired of driving without wipers!

Most '65-'66 Mustangs received a one-speed wiper motor, the motor and wiring are different. The two-speed motor is much larger and has approximately 8 wires going to it as opposed to 3 for the single-speed system.

If needed, I can post pictures of exactly what a two-speed wiper motor looks like. These motors are NOT available from the aftermarket/remanufacturers, and a one-speed motor will NOT interchange.

Damn.. I didn't know they didn't repo that part. The '65 I've got that the 3 speed was in has the 2 speed wipers. Did you check over at NPD? Also you can goto Mustangsandmore.com and post a WTB ad in their classifieds. Lots more classic owners over there vs on here.

Yeah Luke, it's crazy--you can buy the single speed motors as a remanufactured unit all day long. You can even buy the '67 2-speed motor, but it won't bolt up and it wires differently (that's the first thing I tried).

I've hit up all of the parts books; everything states that only the single speed motor is available for '65-'66s.

I may give the Mustangsandmore.com site a try. I've got a Craigslist ad going in addition to this one.
