Please keep your eyes and ears open for information on the burglary at Pro Line today. I will post more info as I get it from them but lots of stuff taken and some may be easy to spot. More than likely, some of it will turn up and they will probably talk about it.
I hate THIEVES...Georgia sure has alot of them lately too.

that sucks. it sounds as though somone one that had been there before and knew the in's and out's of the place. perhaps not an employee but could have been an ex employee or someone that had been there several times.
hope they catch him/her or them.
perhaps a good google search of some of the parts listed will net a lead to the sale of some of this stolen stuff.

and the building didn't have an alarm on it? good question , I was wondering the same. Surely it had an alarm with all of the high dollar stuff they had in there. If not.....Oops. I hope they catch the assholes that did this and someone has a chance to get a little justice of their own before the cops get there. Also it seems that they were more interested in the Chevy stuff than the Ford parts

Mane, haven't you heard/read that Lynch and Petty are moving over to a Chevy motor for 09? Maybe some die hard Ford fan got pissed off over it and freaked out about it...

Not that they shouldn't have all of the Chevy stuff in there , I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist here but more times than not it seems that when performance oriented shops are burglarized , its someone thats a regular there. I hope that isn't the case this time though

i guess i'll clear up a few things here. yes, we do have an alarm, with motion sensors and all. it wasn't a smash and grab. they cut through the left side of the building into the back of the office to avoid the motion sensors in the front of the building by the doors. they then turned to the left wall in that room and cut another hole in the wall taking them into the back bathroom. from there, they could make their way down the hallway which brings them out behind the front motion detectors and before the machine shop/storage motion detectors. once there, they found the brain to the alarm mounted at the top of the wall, climbed up, cut the wires to the siren, motion sensors, and communication cable. after that, they had all the time they wanted to load up engines, turbos, etc.
they definitely were targeting chevy parts. the only ford they got was a really nice mod motor which they didn't even know what they were getting b/c it was locked up in a closed shipping crate. they stole the whole thing i guess hoping they just got something good in there. for that matter, they did things like roll an all aluminum fi sbf outlaw motor out of the way to steal some old carb'd iron bbc. they stole a c5r block that was blown up with no sleeves in it  but left the $11,000 billet big block, aluminum sbf, etc all sitting right next to it.
most of the parts are too unique to just sell off and think they will blend in. we'll catch the person that bought them when they show up and then catch the crooks, or catch the crooks if they decide to try and use them. it was a well thought out break-in with a poorly thought out plan of what to do afterwards. our customer base is too broad and parts too unique to do anything with and not get caught.
so, if the theifs are reading this, i have a few suggestions for how to pull it off next time b/c you will undoubtedly get busted. i mean, you stole parts that aren't even for sale...gee that won't be obvious. an ati powerglide that can't even be bought was stolen. they're only available to be leased, must be used with an ati converter, also leased, and the custom internals are only available through, guess what, ati. oh i forgot, it has a serial number on it that's already been given to ati. wow, good job tards.
that's just one of the many ways they will be giving themselves away...

That SUCKS, whoever it was knew the building inside & out. I don't have near the valuables inside my shop, but I have a cellular back-up on my alarm system and 6 zero-light camers. I also have two reocrding devices, one is hidden in the loft and the other is placed directly in-front of a camera. I'd suggest spending a few grand on security, both times that things were stolen from my shop they were caught the next day. One guy was so dumb that he backed down the alley giving the camera a perfect view of his tag.

I would guess it was a metal wall, that's why mine had 3/4" plywood on the inside that covered the lower 10 feet.

wow at the beginning of that story it was like they were master thieves, then they started stealing some shit...hahaha. But they still did get some good stuff and I would be looking for someone from the security company if the alarms were put in recently or someone who knows that place way to well.
Agreed....someone knew that facility like the backs of their hands to be able to do that. Who else would know where to cut/enter the building and not be detected by the motion sensors.
They not only went thru one wall to accomplish this...but two?? They either had plans of the building and a security schematic....or they were personally familiar with the building.

sure. i don't see a problem with it. i mainly want to clear up the misinformation of the tards on here that think we didn't have an alarm. there is the info, that's what happend, and that's how it happened. you can get a more detailed list and more updates on yellowbullet.
i haven't however posted all of the security upgrades to screw anyone that gets any ideas or the rest of the info we gathered and the suspect(s). i'd rather them find out after they're behind bars. ;)
But...if the theives didn't know those parts had serial numbers....or that the parts were unique...they certainly know now.

uh lol i'm pretty sure they knew. you guys kill me. the exact numbers have been posted on yellowbullet for days. i'm pretty sure they knew that a billet block, billet head 500ci sbc was unique without me telling them. :nice:
btw, we want as many people as possible to know them also so they can keep an eye out. anyways...
