I had a nitrous backfire at Montgomy Pinks back in Nov. Haven't messed with the car much since then. Straightened the throttle blade and changed the oil filter is pretty much it. Here is the problem................Oil pressure is LOW.It usually holds about 60 PSI hot while cruising down the highway ( I use 60 wt Valvoline race oil with the filter bypass blocked off). Now it only holds 25 PSI Cold and drops after I rev engine. Any Ideas? Did I knock the bearings out of it? Lets hear 'em.

Something is wrong, that's fur sure.

Any water in the oil?

Probably wouldn't hurt to yank it out and crack it open for an inspection.

yeah thats what I'm planning. Plus I can put the fogger on it while its out!

Just noticed it holds more oil pressure when cranking it over than it does when its running! WTF?

I hope not. Its the new mellings HV pump with the bolt in pickup tube. I'm gonna pull the oil pan this afternoon and see what i can see.
