This was my first trip to the track with my car. And my first time ever to Steele. Poor QJP broke at the starting line on his first attempt. Five-o-Joe drove his car out there but brought it home on a trailer thanks to a blown head gasket on the second pass. Copperdodge drove his as well and was running damn strong. Pangle's car go's 9.80's with a 150 shot and a stock block (so he says):cool: Not sure how Swingers truck ran but it was apparently without issue. Except when he tried to burn me down at the tree pretending his hood wasnt closed so he had to get out and close it. JK
I feel my best pass was on the 17's. Too much gear (or not enough tire) to run it out on the top end. But with it sputtering out of the hole, then pedaling it once because of wheel hop it coasted to a 10.83 @ 100 shutting down at around 900 feet.
I had a great time and will definately go back. Thanks to five-o-joe for the pep talk and help in the staging lanes. And my wife for some cool photos and my miniature pit crew that really just eats alot and complains all the time.
