LOL! I certainly need to with the luck I had today. It was nice meeting you guys and I can't wait to get my shit right and Sammy get his right so we can get to it again. I had a blast despite my issues. There is one more stick race on the schedule for this year. Let's all get our shit together and I think we can put on a good show. See ya soon bro.

According to the win light, but I had a lucky clover up my ass today. Sammy had me schooled till he missed a gear. I'm pretty sure he's got some tranny issues to sort out.

yea i think the next one is in late june. i hope to have mine back going and have the nitrous working rite!!!!!!!!!! and eric when i get it back going i mite come down ur way and c if we can find a few extra horses!

Today was a perfect example of how the faster doesn't always win!!! You beat me fair and square F8L, I want a rematch with you on the "super de duper" Eric Brooks tune-up and on 28x10.5's.

I'm gonna jerk the tranny out tommorrow and figure what the hell is going on with this thing-it can't be anything too major it goes into 3rd fine under moderate power-just not at WOT.

Richard and I found a mystery piece of metal floating around inside the shifter housing-so I'll start there and move forward.

I'll post the pics of what I find!

I had a blast yesterday even though I had a few issues with the tranny-looking forward to the next one!!!

Yea, we really enjoyed all you guys, ur rides are sick, we really enjoyed the small amount of people this time around. But man it was a long way from home especially in tht viper lol.

will do, i am going to try to pull the motor out in the couple of weeks i will post sum pics of the damage. i hope to have it back running by the next stick shift race but ur still the fastest:hail:

Good racing this weekend. I think I was the slowest guy out there on Sat...I did tree the hell out of Larry but just not enough power to hold him off until the end...oh well it was fun anyway!! I miss my turbo's:cry2:

Tchrchip did great and made it all the way to the final...the 2 bye runs kinda of helped though:doh:

I still never ran the number I was looking for, my blower ate the plastic coil cover the next pass. my whole day started with a slick leaking down faster than I could keep it pumped up.

Yea the pro tree messed my uncle up too. He wasnt expecting it during the first 5 speed race against Pangle i think. He couldnt hook up either.

Nice meetin all you guys, I had a blast despite a few issues. I got the belt slip fixed today, but still got drug by Bonz. I was on radials again and no EAD I still haven't got it to really hook that well on them as of yet. I did get a little quicker today though and I did pick up another 1.5 mph too. It likes ice.

We'll get to it again with me on slicks Sammy. I still don't think I can leave with you, but maybe I'll have enough beans to make it close at the stripe. It'll be a good show regardless. I can't wait to run the SS again with his nitrous issue sorted out.

Hoover112 did you have the blue mustang with I think the procharger on it? If so that thing does sound Nasty and I love the exhaust tips (well that look I guess). What kind of exhaust are you running on it?

I need to get the exhaust changed on mine it is WAAAAYYY to loud!!

You need to come out to Atlanta Motorspeedway Fridaynight drags this summer. The track there is really sticky and its the most fun at any track weve ever had. Some good races there.

I need to get the exhaust changed on mine it is WAAAAYYY to loud!!mine is solid green, but yes with a procharger. I have spintech prostreet 3" and some universal magnaflow stainless tips.

Do you drive it on the street much? How is it as far as "droning goes" on street? I need to get a new cat-back for mine.

when your cruising it ain't terrible, but going up through the gears it's a little loud to suit me. I like it alot at idle. the best I've been with it so far is 6.69 @115 with a 1.62 60 ft. I've only made 8 passes with it and only had one that was remotely clean. I haven't had any mechanical issues though, just stupid stuff. I'm gonna try different tires next. 28x9's may be what's holding me back even though I've seen em work for others.

that is great for still trying to get used to it. The MPH tells the story even if it was a not so good pass. It's definitly putting out the power. My dad has an S-trim on his blue and white stripe coupe. If I ever was going the super charger route it would be a Procharger. Is it a D1sc or larger?

get rid of that got damn 5 speed Tim. put a c4 with a brake and a 50 shot and it will sneeze at a 6.0.

Yes that was him. It's also a stout little combo for what it is. It's a tiny 306 stock E7 headed motor. He runs a stock S-trim pully on it. He was kind of Geeking out on Saturday because he got the car a little loose on the 1st couple of passes and kind of lost his edge.

it did seem to run good from what little I watched, I tried running him down but had already wasted the pass once I left so late and killing the tires. after about 7500 or so mine won't go to 2nd either and by that time I ran outta track. when I saw him he seemed to be having fun. hopefully I can get my dads competitive enough where he can run too.
