Talked to the guy at machine shop about my ls6 heads getting work done to them. He is kinda slow which is good for me plus told me the price which is a deal. Will do a port and polish, 5 angle valve job and put the new set of valve springs on said just to bring them with. He said he will get them done right away.

Nothing new its been going on forever in the chicagoland area. lol :guillotine: Does not take rocket science to pull it off just a wheel lift tow truck and some knowledge of hooking a car up quick.

Only way you might be able to prevent it is to turn your front wheels one way when you park somewhere. That way the steering stays lock so they cant pick the back end up and tow it without the front wheels straight.

Yea they are asking a decent amount for that truck. Truck also needs cab lights. That guy brian had a programmer, not cat and no muffler along with the air filter setup and his truck ran really strong.

well they still want alot of money for it, but it is one of nicest truck's I've been in. Truck rode like a cadillac and had tons of power. Put it in 2nd gear at a stop and just let the clutch out, no gas. The truck just moves like nothing.
Surprised the hell out of me. My dad didn't beat on it at all, tho the guy from the dealer came with and wanted my dad to, lol.

Have to see if they come down in price or if they will sell it for as much as they are asking and put a lift and tires that another truck has on it. I am thinking none of the above will happen with them.

Yeah its older and has alot of miles but everything is rebuilt and the rust issue can be fixed with rhino liner. Its a reg cab long bed with a 5spd plus its built already just needs stacks and cab lights. Can most likely get it for $6500 or a little less plus its a 12 valve they make more power then the new 24.
