Alright, a few weeks ago I ordered all the stuff to upgrade the fuel system on my turbo Cobra to -8 pushlock. I got 20ft of Jegs -8(1/2) black pushlock hose and I verified on their site that it was fuel rated. Today I spent the better part of the day installing all the hose and fittings and wiring up my new pump and installing the Aeromotive filter. Well I had a piece left and I noticed the Gates logo and it says LOL PLUS on it. So I googled it and up pops an NHRA rules page and beside the Gates hose it says NHRA approved, but manufacturer doesn't not approve for fuel. So I got back to Jeg's site and they've freaking changed it since 2 weeks ago when I got it all. I'm screwed now because I've cut it all up and installed it on my car so I can't send it back.
Here's the page I saved from my "wish list" on Jegs showing it's fine for fuel:

Here's the page that pops up on Jeg's if you search for the same part number today:

send Jegs a email and tell them you want a refund and let us know what happens
If they don't make it good it sure would be funny if every body on here sent them a email restating your story and then telling them they SUCK :D

No doubt, and that still won't make up for my hours of labor in this...They should send me the correct Aeroquip brand for free. This pushlock won't come off without cutting it off the fittings.

Send them a link to this thread as well. They made plenty of money at the NHRA race this weekend to cut ya a break.

I just called Gates and they said that LOL Plus has never been fuel rated. The tech said that the liner is not compatible with todays fuels due to the ethanol blends. He said if I were going to use it with pure gasoline with no ethanol(which I do) then it would "probably" be ok. I'm on hold with Jeg's now.

So what was the final verdict?

They credited my $49.95 I paid for the Jeg's hose toward the purchase of the correct Russell hose and gave me free shipping.
good for them and good for you

I'm glad I had the screen shots, they claimed the description hasn't been changed in over a year.

Yep, good thinking on your part. I would have just been screwed.
