Congrats Bolt!! Glad you finally getting that car worked out. Hate I couldn't make it down, but got home from work late and couldn't make the voyage in time!

I don't know how the rules are in OSOR, and I don't know if my car would fit in and be competitive.

I would definately like to go sometime though. Just can't run with the big cube, power adder cars ya know!! LOL:steering:

Either that or they need to let him run in the 10.5 tire class with everyone else before he scares everyone off in the radial flyer class. I have to give credit where credit is due, his car was leaving HARD and running hard down track as well. Even with the .007 red light start I had, and his terrible .2xx he had, he still came flying by me at the other end. Realisticly, nobody excepy Aaron Yates had anything for him. Im still amazed how hard he could leave on those tires :dropjaw: Here you go Bolt :icescream: You deserve it!:bow:

I noticed there was an issue with the orange mustang and the Monte carlo. I dont think there is really a need to tech and re-tech all the cars or have to pay someone to do that. I would think it would be as simple as just teching the winners in each class to make sure they are legal. You already have the rules posted and they are pretty plain and simple in my opinion. If someone doesn't want to open their hood and let you make sure they are legal like on Friday night then they just don't get paid and the money would go to the next guy who was eliminated and is legal. I can certainly understand where Shanon is coming from when his car is legal with just a smallblock and 1 kit and having to run a guy with a 632 and 2 or 3 kits. I had a lot of fun and would do it again in a heart beat, but just remember we do have to pay a $50 entry and nobody wants to throw their money away to someone who is cheating big time. I applaud you guys for making the effort to put this on and think its a great idea and I will support the class. I just think you could end all arguing with a 2 minute check of the winners. I dont mean going crazy either, but if the rules say 1 kit and they have 3 then I think that would be a pretty substantial violation. If he's just missing a little piece of carpet or he's 10 lbs underweight etc..... then I could see letting that slide as it would'nt really have had an impact on the outcome of the race. Anyway, I just thought I would throw in my .02 and let you know I had a great time and would love to come and do it again.

I think what everyone is beating around the bush about but not asking you is "What would you do to make the class better? What would you change in the rules?". That just my guess if i'm wrong it wont be the 1st time.

I think the rules that are already in place are simple and all that is needed. I do think however that a little bit of rule enforcement, even if its just the winners would significantly tighten up the field and make the racing more competitive which in turn would attract more people to come race. I'm not knocking anyone, I had a great time. Just a suggestion to maybe help attract some more cars.

First of all I wasn't trying to be a smart ass since I don't know who you are! I meant no harm. My car wasn't all the way legal by the rules! We came anyway to join in the fun and support the class and effort everybody put in trying to get this off the ground. I wasn't aware that anyone (besides us) were illegal. We did however tell the men behind the OSOR that we weren't legal. But lets be honest here this was about getting this off the ground and having a cool class to run in. So car count and asses in the stands is first! Otherwise this class won't be back. I do this for fun, certainly not to offend anybody.
Did you have a car there sir? If so which one? I just wanna have a really cool local class that i can enjoy with friends. I even gave money outta my own pocket to one of these events this year. Sorry if I offended you.

If the rules arent going to be enforced then a 6.80 will probably win it because no one will show up to race. Do you remember the night you and toni came to ware shoals for the $2000 ss race and only 5 cars showed up, and thats with free entry? Thats what no rules gets ya or someone showing up and being 4 or 5 tenths faster than the rest of the class gets ya. If that is what yall want go for it.

I think it would make more sense to tech all of the cars before the race that way anyone who isn't legal wouldn't be allowed to race and fuck it up for the rest of the field. I know I'd be pretty pissed off if I got beat first round and the car that took me out ended up winning the race and was found to be illegal. If I got beat by a legal car then I can't blame anyone but myself for losing.

love to se every ones drinking their hateraid.. ok lets clear up a few things.. it did weight 3350 because i scaled it that morning to add weight to be legal.. 61mm bring your favorite way to check to the next race you may be suprised.. back seat is carpeted.. never says coilovers are illegal they are bolt on.. find me another class that requires mufflers on a turbo car.. wont find one.. hell it was quieter than about every car there ours included.. ut if thats a problem no worries got that covered also.. and yes it runs e 85 but another racer offerd to bring him some if he needed on the board in front of everyone. now no one had a problem with his setup till he finally had a good day at the track.. so if we gonna enforce rules.. enforce nhra rules also cause it would have kicked out a few others also.. gotta have a cage and a liscense to run faster than 6.40 those of u know who u r and im not callin anyone out.. but all and all wasnt but maybe 2 ta 4 totally legal cars there that night and none were even in the semis :(.. we had fun even though we broke and wasnt complainin that anyone wasnt legal that night . seems as if only the ones who werent even in the class are the only complainers now..

I really dont have a whole lot to add because I already said how I felt about the race and the rules etc.... I also know who my real friends are on here and who isn't and thats fine. You can tell by whats said about you behind your back just like Jason said above. Its hard for me to sit back and see people bash Bobby, Shannon, Jason, etc... just for saying what they think is right. I happen to agree with them on most of the issues. I could care less what anyone thinks of me. I think everyone should play by the rules in both of the classes and I am absolutely including myself in that. I know my car isn't certified and that makes it illegal, but there was nothing on it to give me an illegal power advantage over anyone else other than it being a Mopar! lol Shannon has every right to be mad if he was beaten by someone who had multiple kits on their car when the rules say you can only have one and they wouldn't raise their hood to let the car be checked.
