Dont get the header if you get the turbo because you wouldnt be able to use it. Also if you do get the turbo kit I would spend a little extra money and get an intercooler for it. The pistons by themselves wont add much so if you get them, make sure you have a turbo or nitrous to account for the lowered compression ratio. And finally the short throw shifter wont do anything performance wise.
My choice would be the turbo kit and an intercooler.

slowOZ,
hmm dude that's gonna be a hard choice to choose, the pistons if you get it would have to be installed by someone else , and that's not gonna be a easy job, gonna have to rip the whole motor apart,
Nitrous..that's kind of pushing it, nitrous might not be a good choice to go with at all, BOOM....
I don't know, see if you like the turbo kit, but a turbo kit with a intercooler would be better though,....or just sell the car and get a EVO Lancer....

meng- i wish it were that easy but alas i am stuck with this..plus a 15000 dif between mine and evo
evan- the header bolts up to the turbo kit. the intercooled one is 1000 more and i cant run more than 7 psi without frying my pistons any way so it woud be a waste of money..check out the webpage.

i would run the turbo...granted, you might only get 5 psi, but thats a lot starting from nothing. Also, if you were interested, instead of running an intercooler, you could look into propane injection...see a kit at
www.importpoweronline.com
Chris Hill, a friend of mine, runs the place. You can read about what propane does and how it works. Basically it's a high octane fuel (110 octane)....it would help get a few more psi without frying stuff and creating predetonation. It would require though that you'd buy an AFC (air/fuel controller) of some kind. This is so that you can lean out the stock fuel mixture and keep it from running pig rich on the bottom end.

Wow, now that I look at it, that is a really weird turbo kit, using the stock header. Usually turbo kits use different manifolds with the flanges for the turbos on them. Now I see what you are talking about though.

yah its a really great setup. i can always up grade to an intercooler later when the cash is around but i think i like the idea of propane injection. i am going ot research that a bit more and hopefully have a good chat with matt about it.
EDIT: ok i just read everything there was to read on ther page matt linked me to and i am sold. matt we NEED to talk this kit would be prime. just home you could help me install it!!

I just spoke with Chris Hill, the owner of Import Power Online over MSN, he's actually buying a car that we were both interested in and he outbid me:mad: ;)

What a ride!
That car has mid 11s on the street with NO problem. I bring this up because it's on pump gas and PROPANE.
Chris said to tell you, ADHEM, to send him an e-mail
importpoweronline@hotmail.com
He'll cut you a deal for being the first on a particular platform to try it.
He figured you'd get about 3 more PSI than you would on straight 93 octane pump.
