Been trying to find people to get up and race with, but localy it has been hard, especialy being in the 4 cyl. class. Running mid to upper 15s kind of sucks when all you have to race are either turbo charged killers, V-Tec 4 cyl. stocks making over 200 HP like the Acura RSX, and sports 6s and 8s. I am working on bringing my numbers down. These new cars are hard to mod due to the cpu and the chit load of electronics they pump into them. It's not like yesteryear. That's why I want to find avid racers where I can get feedback on my tweaks and hookups. All the cars I have seen in this forum are bad ass. I do however know that any car can be be brought to that stage with the proper work. What would you do with my car, besides trade it in...lol? I really like my 2003 Neon R/T. Came with every option elecrically. Has a performance 2.0 Lt. "Magnum" version of the neon engine. It has potential. I have no turbo, no NOS, but has a nice sports suspension, nice center of gravity. I mean I have done almost 90 degree turns at over 60, and this thing just takes it. IN NEED TO KNOW! Friends say I could have got a mustang with an 8 with more horse for the same price I spent on this, but where is the challenge there? My objective is to bring this R/T Neon to at least 230 HP (the stock SRT-4 HP). Currently I would say it's about 165 HP conservatively. That 15 HP boost from my stock 150 HP is due in large to performance wires, plugs and an AEM CAI, but that is not enough for me. Any advice, besides scrapping my car, would be cool.

Worth while car to mod I think. The R/T looks sleek, though I wish there was more room under the hood. Here's a pic of the AEM CAI I installed
