Supra - Thanks for the links! The one I attached looked really cool.

Click here (http://www.nsxhelp.com/amnsxlit/Enginetrick/EngineTrick.htm) (BTW - It's the first link)

But (for the mod engines) are you not worried about it messing with the alternator? That's one of my concerns. I guess I could cover it up.

Yes that is what I was trying to link,...I have not done this to mine. I am concerned about not covering my electronics good enough. I dont have to worry about a distributor on my car though.

It sounds like people really like to do this though. It also warn about using simple green

I think you will enjoy this.
One of the things they say to do is to use foil to cover up parts that shouldn't get wet. (It can mold to the exact area you need to cover.)
There are tips on how to do almost anything from fixing scratches to cleaning your convertible top to show detailing to daily cleaning. It's pretty informative!

Ive always had awesome luck with the CD2 engine detailer kit. O'reillys carries it. Its like 7 bucks. I just cover up some of the electronics and Im good to go!

Foil works great to cover up things such as your air filter, alternator, etc. Buy some stuff called GUNK at the parts store and use it. Just dont spray it on chrome, painted pieces, etc. And if you REALLY wanna clean it right...although it takes time. Nothing beats Grease Lightning and an old toothbrush.

Old topic but I thought I could help here maybe!

1.Spray on Walmart Basic Engine Degreaser that comes in a Can and let it sit for like 5minutes or however long the can says to.
2. Take hose and let it wash the degreaser off. Maybe alittle force but not much. Making sure it all came off
3. Start the car and let it warm up until the engine bay is dry, and also taking a rag and getting rid of small puddles of water
4. Black Magic Plastic/Rubber/Whatever that crap spray is and get every piece of plastic, Rubber, and I even get the Painted metal and belts with this stuff. Wipe off excess of course

After that my engine bay will shine for like 2 weeks.

Make sure to not use Armoral since it will dry your hoses out. Infact never use that crap on anything since it will dry it out.
