I just read over in the Atlanta area forum that you broke some teeth on your ring gear, hate to hear that. At least it happend when you weren't racing someone for some cash. Get that thing back going soon. We finally got the supra going last night around 2 in the morning. Took us a while to get the new transmission straightend out, the shifter cable was not for our exact application and needed some modifications. We are definitely gonna have to hit a dyno though, the new turbo makes a lot more boost than the old setup and we couldn't stay on it w/o it running lean in a hurry. I will be setting up a dyno apointment for the next week or two, depending on availability. That dart must have been moving for those Ga boys to back down on you.

You just wait till the supra is running full speed and you can take your shot at how many car links you can loose by like the rest of them.

Strokedcoupe, the supra does not have a bunch of sneaky pete bottles in it, it has one 15 lb in the trunk for everyone to see. This car isn't some little jap ride that has a bunch of go fast goodies on it for show, it's to actually go fast. I saw that pic you posted of your car over in another forum, nice wheelstand. Too bad while you're draggin your bumper w/ your buddies pissing in their pants w/ excitement, the supra will be out in front by 5 and not looking back. Oh, and what size tires are those on the back, you have to put some 34X16 slicks on just to get that stock mustang to do a big wheelie? I guess I'm gonna have to buy another 15 lb bottle or 2 to take w/ us racing b/c we're gonna have to outrun so many of you guys.

And one more thing, take your digital camera to the track next time to take pics of your car instead of taking pictures of the tv, I guess you didn't think about that did you.

My buddy knows all he needs to know, you worry about getting your piece ready. As a matter of fact, I think I saw your car the other day while passing through Ga, near Clayton. It was purple and on 4 cement blocks with grass grown up all around it. First of all let me make it clear that I am not, nor am I associated with the person that uses the name linemup. Those of you who really know me, knows that my tag is spelled LINMUP.

Secondly, I'm not going to get into this "pissing Contest" of a message board that you all call Street Racing Forums.:bicker: I don't street race! And I don't enjoy Keyboard racing. Wow you all have evolved so much in the past 6 years since I quit street racing. Now instead of standing on the side of the road in the middle of the night, you can bench race from the comfort of your own home. I'm proud of you guys, you've come along way.

Now for you Michael (s10sya), yeah I borrowed Lynn's motor and run it. Yeah I did ride a wheel stand into the wall, so what? Have you ever done anything remotely like that? And I don't think all those coats of paint had anything to do with the speed of my car, cause Nimmons was primmer when your motor was in it, and it wasn't that fast. Oh yeah and for the record. My little cheap street, non-ported head motor is still faster than your motor was.

Don't bother replying to this thread, cause I WILL NOT reply. But if you want to come out and run the next Pro Cheap Street race at Atlanta, then I will gladly show you how race street legal style. And trust me, wheelie or not, I will not "get my ass smoked".

well damn, this is getting interesting on here. Too bad I'm gonna have to throw in the towel here. Went out for a test pass last night, and my buddy decided for some reason he wanted to max out the turbo. Well after flashing 37 lbs on the gauge, with his too small downpipe, the turbine overheated and the turbo basically went all to hell. Parts of the turbo flew into the intercooler busting up the fins inside it while others back tracked into the exhaust ports. We're in the hole big time on this one. I do not know when it will be back up and running, we haven't taken the motor out yet, he will probably send it back to Cali to the guy that built the engine. Oh well, maybe in 6 months we'll be back, and finally show you guys how it's done.

as for nosstang that motor wouldn't be legal if it had to be.just cause you port the heads an sandblast them to look as cast doesn't mean that the cc are the same.but look who im talking to wouldn't matter if it was fastest thing in the world you still couldn't make it past first round.when ya have a complete motor an trans thats completely yours we will talk until then keep losing in the first round buddy!!!!!!!!!!

Roy, the turbo actually started out as a PT-68 from Precision Turbo that was for a Mustang. My buddy picked it up real cheap in a trade on some other parts and stuff. He sent it back to Precision to have some changes made to it so it would spool up quicker on the supra motor rather than on a v8. I'd be lying if I said I knew every single detail about it, I just know gerenal info my buddy tells me when he's working on it. I know it was a big shaft turbo. At first he acted like Precision had gave him some bad info on down pipe diameters and stuff, but later he admitted that he was trying to make due w/ a smaller pipe so he could run quieter exhaust and not be very loud. That's about all I know as of now, I think the car is going to sit for a while until he decides what he wants to do. He has an offer already on the car and is seriously thinking about selling it and building something else. He's been itching to buy a modular powered mustang and see what he can do w/ it.:D I'll be around on here keeping up w/ things ready to talk smack when we're backup and running.
