Well, over at a buddy's house I was taking the turbine side of his old turbo apart, he needed the flange in order for some of it to bolt up, and since it wasn't going to be used I figured what the hell, might as well take it apart. BAD IDEA. Well, it wouldn't have been if I wasn't an idiot. SO, we're tearing on this very stuck bolt and my hand slips off of the wrench, it slings along the turbine wheel (like a little fan, for those not familiar with turbos) and the "fan" has blades......sharp ones. It gouged under where my thumb connects to my hand, on the inside. I couldn't stop the bleeding for like 1/2 hour, finally have it wrapped up now. I got called into work and had to explain my stupid move to everyone who walked by, they kept asking why I had such a big wrap on my finger.
Well, thanks for listening to my story, anyone else every hurt themselves working on their cars???
