The best way to learn to use the program is to go to books a million and find a book...

I used to use that site alot. I also learned alot from it. My only problem with the website is that there are SOOOO many ways to do the same thing in photoshop. Each tutorial teaches to use that certain person's techniques instead of learning the tools on your own.

I'm telling you, the best way to learn, is to buy a photoshop book that teaches you the tools of the program and what they do. Playing with the program is another great way to learn. When you do it yourself, you learn through experience. Everyone knows experience is and will always be the most powerful learning tool ever used.

I learned what I do by simply toying around with the program. I just recently purchased a book, and have learned more in the month I have been reading it, than the whole approx. 1/2 year i spent on that site. Another downfall to using tutorials, is the fact after you are done with the tutorials, 99% of the things you have learned, you will forget. If you are doing it yourself, and KNOW what you are doing, you will never forget how to do it again.
