What are some of the fastest cars in your area (1/8th or 1/4 mile)?

heh ya i love the RX7 though. Have you read the howstuffworks.com article on it? Thats how i learned how rotaries work. lol some kid at school tried to tell me the only difference is a rotary has triangle pistons. I think its pretty ingenious though. It seems like a more efficent system than the 4-cycle. They get bad gas mileage cause of the low compression but in my opnion even econo cars could be made with tiny rotaries with turbos. Just think youd never have to buy a new car.

I'm sure it's been a little too "snowy" to be racing anyhow....

lol usually but we got less snow than florida. It's 0 outside but the grass is green.
Thats not what I'm talking about anyway. I just wanna hear what people are up to with thier cars, projects or whatever.

When applying boost to a rotary, you have to be real careful with them. They are real delicate and don't like any detonation at all! They run strong and good, but one little *ping* and you get to pull it out! They actually get decent gas mileage. It depends on how much you're on the gas pedal.....just like any car I guess. :)

well thats the fundamental problems any way the henkel or however you spell it, has its own problems. But compare that gas mileage to lets say a 1.6 4 cycle
