What are some of the fastest cars in your area (1/8th or 1/4 mile)?

well Roy, I think your 'waiting patiently' holds up in this forum...talking about boring...is anyone alive in nashville? I guess no one has any nice cars in the area, lol

Yeah, there are some of us alive. Most of the Nashville gang hangs out at Tennesspeed.net . I have a forged LS1 being built with a T60-1 turbo kit, it's gonna be pretty quick when I get it back, but it would not be the fastest car on this Nashville forum. Not a lot of us have nice fast imports like Knox or Nooga.

tnspeed ,,,, i've checked that place out before .....a bunch of wannabes thinking there fast .....if your fast your on here ! and talking shit ! 346 ? do you know the guy that goes by wheelie monster ? or his german buddy? your car sounds like it should run when your done ..... any or how many 6sec. cars you guys got ?

I've met german in person but not wheelie monster. Wheelie has a fiber glass t model looking truck thats a 6 sec car on motor. German has a fast orange mustang and a fast black mustang. One of those are 6 sec cars. Most of the cars on tnspeed.net are 7-8 sec cars in the 1/8. And there are probably a couple more in the 6 sec range. Most of us are low-mid-high 7 second street cars.

cool , i've seen the german down here in chatt racing ......a few months ago . wheelie was with him , and both was talking crap .

My car runs an 11.5 in a 1/4 @ 125. Thats on 93 octane and 17 psi on 17in DR. Cut a 1.6 60ft too....my clutch didn't like that one!!! But just thought I would throw that out there.

I may ride down there Saturday evening, but my car is down so it won't be there. :(

both german and speedy have very fast cars and they are just as fast on the street. If you see a guy on tennespeed named dragman he is a good guy, VERY fast car. A long while back I remember german and speedy trying to get a few cars together to go to chattanooga ( I hear there are some imprssive cars and good racing happenning down that way) but our group never went. There is also a guy named Andy in middle TN with a impressive challenger. So far as imports go, I dunno about many impressive ones, I know I've been on 65 and seen a red supra pass me racing a few guys, I was also at a party where he raced a viper but they really didn't race b/c of the traffic. And really, he is the only "fast import" I have ever seen race in this area... weird.

dragman will be on this site soon enough. Speedy told us alot of people talk alot of shit. Don't mind the shit talk here. Dragman is still trying to get his nitrous worked out. Everyone should start going to Huntsville every Sat. night for midnight madness. They said they will run it all year round. I know dragman has gone 6.15 on motor in his 64 Nova. It is a street car. Hoping to see mid 5's off of small shot when he gets it tuned.

I do that with my F150 pick up with the stock short block and cam.
I hate to see what happen when I get my new engine together.

Thats it 6sen 1/8 mile cars come on.
