Nothing more than a 160 degree stat and a moser 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. My tranny just let go because the stock driveshaft it too damn long for the new rear end. Getting that fixed. I am planning on building up the car over the next few years. I will probably buy a used LT1 and build it at some point!

Come to think of it, Randall has a noisy power steering pump too. Maybe we should go to autozone and get a new pump for ya:embarras:

While your at it, I could use some new LCA's, bilstein shocks, eibach springs if your buying hehe... Just got my car back from the transmission shop with a performance rebuild. It has hi performance springs, clutch plates, servos, heavy duty TC and a shift kit. All I can say is WOW!!!!

Now I need to fix those shot rear suspension parts bad! Is Tnspeed sport still around? Is there any place local that a LT1 camaro owner can get performance parts?

Concrats on the tranny. I built one like that for my 81 Camaro. Nothing like a well built automatic.

Tennessee Speed Sport is still around, but they are up in Goodlettesville now, just off the Rivergate exit off 65. Other than that, I'd check the web and some of the LT1 forums.

No worry about that , I have seen your dyno numbers .... My little ol GT is about 16 valves short of making the power you got !!!! :D

Let me ask you your opinion on somthing , I have to get my car dynotuned at Delk on tues . I don't have a way to haul it there , If I left the stock injectors in there and just eased up there on the interstate and keep it out of boost , and then changed injectors on site , would I have any problem ?

You are correct. You'll be fine with the stock injectors just to get it to Delk's. As you said, just stay OUT of the boost. Then swap out the injectors when you get there.

If you have a way to haul a trailer, I could bring mine up there to you. Let me know. (of course it'd probably be easier to just drive it with the stock injectors)

Us LT1 guys have nowhere to turn to for parts!!!! I get all my stuff from summit and Jegs. Of course you could look for some parts for sale locally on www.camaroz28.com or www.LS1.com . You could do cash on that.

well i live in madison. and hey i'll race ya in that vette, hehe, with my lil regal. and the dyno, well best i can tell ya is to go up to the school and simpley ask around, i'm too busy with classes. but i'm sure if u have something interesting to dyno the guys would love to do u the favor. oh and if u want to c some of my other toys check out my site at www.cardomain.com/id/zxz_jamie_zxz oh and if ya want to take a look at neof them close up, well i'm here in madison and i never have nething to do. but the regal is in terrible condition, but she's still fast. oh well later.

Well out here in murfreesboro there is a lot going on when it warms up a little. Friday nights there is a car show at stones river mall, Friday and Saturday night there are people at the local hangout. You will probably want to check out www.tennesspeed.net and get to know some of the people around here. Most of the time if they don't know you they don't pay any attention to you at shows. Not a whole lot going on during the week. Classes here at MTSU keep me busy. Sometimes a few people get together on thursday and go downtown to have a beer....... or two..... or three. You go to stampedes?? I'm sorry:embarras:

Just kidding....... I've been there a few times, I'm just not big into the whole club scene.

Come to murfreesboro on friday or saturday night. Get to the local hang out spot, which is the Special FX parking lot at about 10:30. I guess goodlettsville is north of nashville?? If so go 65 south, make your way to 24 east and head out a ways. When you get to interstate 840 take that heading east, take the first exit towards murfreesboro. Go a few miles on that road and you'll see a whole shitload of cars parked in a lot right before a shell station.

If those from that forum that shut down will get their buddies on here with them, this section will grow! The key to getting these other sections to grow is having people show up in them on a consistent basis. Usually what happens is someone will post a thread and then two months later another person from that area will reply. By that time, the thread starter has forgotten about this place! :)

You locals to the area put up some threads asking about fast cars in the area or what not and see if you can get some people to start hanging out in here! I'll help too!

what the hell is up with tungsten just gettin everyone's hopes up and then just dumping them out of no where. that was so gay. Yeah, I was in shock, because I read at 10:30 this morning that it was all going to be ok, and that the site would stay up... then I get back to the house at 2:30, and it's shut down... I hate this, because I'm not really into Supraforums, and there really isn't anywhere else to go... This just adds another loss (of a group of cool people) to my life. Pretty depressing... maybe this site will be ok, but maybe not - I'm not really into shit talking.

I will say that I can understand all the frustrations from the members of that site. It was like losing a home. But, I also can understand the owner's reasonings behind closing it. In fact, it made me have a 'reflection' on the possible negative aspects of owning this site.......someone setting up a race on here and then killing someone or themselves. It's a lot to have to carry on your shoulders.

I think that the owner has to do what he feels is right. So, if shutting down that site is what he felt was right, then he made the right decision.

I just want you guys to know that you are welcome to call this site your new home. I think after you figure out the flavor of this forum, you'll like it.

If I can help you guys in any way, just let me or 1TONY1 know.

yeah, it sucks. I definatly wasn't trying to talk shit at all. I was just ranting cause of the situation. if you have checked today, tungsten has a big Q&A stating why he shut down the site. It does suck but I can understand all the problems and risk in runing a site like that, but there no reason to draw out something that's done with.

Roy Johnson, Jr: thanks for trying to help some of us understand. I appriciate the offering. I'll hang around a little bit and see what I think. all in all this looks like a pretty cool site.
