What are some of the fastest cars in your area (1/8th or 1/4 mile)?

I have a buddy that has a Pontiac Ventura with a Pincho 350 running a small hit of giggle gas that runs 12.1 @ 114 on ET streets. A girl friend of ours has a 68 Camaro with a forged 355 and a 4 speed going 13.2 @ 108 on the same tires. Then in Concord Ca. there are a few 5.0's running deep 10's and an occasional high nine second pass. Darius of the SBF has his supercharged 240Z with an LT-1 that routinely spanks R1 Yamaha's on the freeway... My El Camino with a 388 Vic. Jr. headed small block goes somewhere in the mid 12's and it's a road race style car with big sway bars, heavy spring rates and a 4 speed with 3.42's (weird concept in itself but the look on the guys face in the late model vette that just got closed up on on the 270 degree on ramp is worth all the heckling in the world!) Just thought I would post a reply and say What's up in Georgia!!

Thank you. I have been looking @ this sight for several years now and I finally decided to chime in. Where are all the Nor Cal speed freaks. I can't believe that I'm the only person going to Sac. on the first to go race LEGALLY... I've tried to cut down on my illegal activities...those $7000 engines really make you think twice about getting it impounded!!

You need to get busy over there and get your buddies on here too! If you could get just a few people to post on here daily, your section would start growing!

If you got this section to having some activity needing moderation, you could be the new sheriff in town! :D That's if you wanted too.

I'll be totally honest with you, I'm not that computer literate and I spend most of my sorry existence trying to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder! I will try to post as often as I can but I usually only have access to a computer at work. Thanks for the offer. If there is anything I can do let me know and I'll give it a shot if possible... by the way, I dig those third gen RX-7's. They are one of the few cars I consider a dangerous opponent to our small block powered 240Z's. Light weight, incredible handling, and a good looking car in anyone's book. Keep the shiny side up!!!
