Just to jump start things in the MD forums...
My cousin just bought an 02 Metallic Black BMW 330Ci....6spd manual I-6. Quick car, ill give it that.
On my way to the mall one night, i pull up at a red light. Glance over to my left, hey that looks like my cousins car...holy shit, that is my cousins car. I roll down the window and yell out "you wanna run em?". He knods and says "hell yea, i wanna see how this thing flies". The light turns green and we take off. Anyone who owns a 300zx knows how hard they are to launch, but i got a perfect launch revved to 2500 and layed off tha clutch. He got a good start too but jumped it into second. By 45mph his car bumper was hangin at the back edge of my door. I threw it into 3rd and bye bye Mikey. As soon as we 795 i was @ about 115mph and had around 3 cars on him and still pulling. I shut down even though there were no cars for over a mile, he pulls up next to me and we settle down to about 75. Its 8 at night, no cars in sight, and a black 93 300zx rolling with a black 02 330Ci right next to it. Im sure it would have been quite a sight from above. All in all, those cars are pretty quick for what they are. Im sure if i was stock it would have been a little quicker, but theyre faster than youd expect from a 4 door-almost_3500_pound_car, with around 225hp.
