I checked under his car before he left. Rear end seemed to be in-tact. The only visible thing I could see was the lube on the the exhaust. The diff. gasket, axle boots, etc. looked OK. I think it was a pin-hole in the axle boot that was slinging lube on the exhaust as the boot and spot on exhaust were in-line.

Update on the "Monster Vette"....it is now GM color code 72 yellow base coat clear coat, with my new centerlines on it. 4" skinnies on front, 10.5" on back.

Pictures coming soon.....it looks sweet, I even had the carbs powder coated yellow.:rockon:

It came out really sharp looking, they finished it last night. I'm not sure how they do the clear coat, but it is shiney as hell, he said something about wet-sanding it or some bullshit. The carbs are what really set off the engine compartment, I just need to get the street scoop now instead of the stacks.

I like it, I'm proud of it, thanks for the positive feedback.

All it needs now is some tinted 1970s bubble glass and some kindergarten glitter- metal flake and that thing will be ready for Dallas.
