View Full Version : Ford- Buick Shootout???? Interested??

Sounds like we have the makings for a really good shootout with the membership on this board. Sounds like alot of mustangs and GN are on here. Who would be interested in renting a track for a day (all to ourselves) and host a Ford-Buick grudge war? Sounds like fun to me.....
We should try to put something like this together. Everyone would be invited but it would feature "Ford-Vs. Buick Grudge War" or "Ford versus the World", or something like that, only because I think the majority of the cars are mustangs/Fords. Not trying to exclude anyone, just trying to make sure the number of cars on the two opposing sides is similar. What do you all think??

Fuck this mustang/gn shootout..... Everyone just bring their cars to Reynolds(Silver Dollar) on June 22 . We been telling y'all about this one for a while now, we can all get it on then. :bash: :D

Hey nosstang,

Where you in Bowling Green this past weekend? Those are some impressive times for a .485 lift cam and 150 shot.;) I heard nobody else was even close...hmmm.:D

Yeah, I heard that .485 lift cam sounded like a .620 solid roller with 14:1 compression. Can you tell me how I can make my .485 lift cam sound like that?

Yeah that was me. As far as it was not close, well Jimmy McDonagh was right on my tail in the finals.

Just use the E-brake with the button pushed in and you won't roll out of the lights. It takes some getting used to...I've been doing it for about 8 years. Poor man's line lock works like a charm.

I am going south on I-75 most of the way so not too bad for me. it is still a 2 hour drive or more depending on traffic.
