Being as Scott (Coupe) is the TTE 1 winner and Clawrence is the #2... would it not be a good idea for the two of those guys to come up with the guidelines? That way there is no confusion! As for the tracks....we could put them all in a bag and let a neutral party draw it out... What say you?

I will have to admit that Huntsville is one of the best hookin tracks I have ever been to hands down. But I have always had pretty good luck at Dallas too. I was running a set of 28x9's at the time and cutting 1.48's on the motor. When I turned the bottle on I stripped the teeth off the ring gear on the starting line. Guess I was there at the right times. I will also say that dallas is a slow track. Hey Dan, dont bite off more than you can chew. Those 5.50's and .60's will turn into .30's and .40's at Huntsville. You cant compare the times you run at Dallas to the times you will run at Huntsville.

In defense of Dallas, I really don't think those .50's would have been any faster ANYwhere else. Dallas was hooking as good as any track that I've been to........and that's the FIRST time I've seen it that good! David, Dan (who is it that drives the white car?)

I don't want to and won't disrespect anybody here for any performance issue last Friday, please understand that. However, I do have a question after reading some comments in this thread posted by you.

Were / Are you saying that the reason behind the white coupe not running hard @ Dallas was due to track prep, and that essentially you'll run anyone @ Huntsville where you know your car works?

I'm just getting the impression that unless something was wrong with your car that your faulting the track for not being able to hold the car. I'll save a few more questions I have for you until you respond.

10.5 the times that were run at Dallas would not have been any faster at Huntsville looking at the 60 fts, And the 330s but that was a once in a life time deal at Dallas,Huntsville is much more consistent and run much more professionally then Dallas,as they know how to run heads up cars. And the track is prepared for test /tune not just big events. So that is my point and I take it that that means that you will accept my challenge Shank`n ? Here's the last one that I'm cloudy on.

If the times at Dallas wouldn't be any quicker at Huntsville for anyone then why is that the only track you keep mentioning for people to come to?

If Hunstville and Dallas do not have any differences, besides consistency and Dallas was prepped well last Friday then what happened to the White coupe, was there parts failure or just the tires not getting along with the pad?

First thing quart of stain what did you say you had to race,O thats right just your mouth! I am not making any excusses because at first I didn`t know what was wrong,but when we were leaving we tryed to push the car on the trailer it wouldn`t roll. when we got back to the shop and tryed to unload the car we had to drive it off the trailer because you couldn`t push it off. As hambone and some other guys know we twisted the output shaft in the glide at huntsville the last time we were there,so we put a spare glide in and I tryed to find another Spicer yoke but no one in town had one, so doing the wrong thing I bought one that was imported( China-india) and put it in.We took the car to 411 last week but that is the worst track I have ever seen.The car never acted like it even started to hook,on two passes it was spining thru the traps.So I think that on the Quailifying when we upped the boost the car moved pretty good and then spun the tires,it never acted like that before.That is when it hurt the yoke. When we put the car on the lift with the car in neutral you couldn`t turn the rear tires, it took about a half hour to get the drive shaft knocked out of it,did that cause the problem I don`t know. I do know that we ran 5.50s at Huntsville and I can put the same setup back in it! So like I said bring it,at least there we won`t have to sit in the car ready to go and wait for 30min. in 90 deg heat. Dan

dallas was good to the 60 ft. clocks as evident by my frequent 1.23 60s. but from 60 to 80 feet it is slick and only one pass the whole night i didn't have to pedal it and went a .52. all i can say is 50s definetly will not cut it at the next one even if its at dallas:D Coupe you ready to step on it a little bit? because i will have more guns next time.

Holy shit.... Dan I have no idea where you heard that from but it was definitely a good source. Carolina is our favorite 1/4 mile track by far... We do run the 1/8th sometimes there but it is a very sweet track 1/8th or 1/4 and they will run any light you want.

We have rented the track a couple of times around the October/November time frame. If you guy's care to do something around that time frame let me know and I will call Jeff this week and see what I can get. We were just talking about renting it again this year with Plowboy and his father Tommy just last night.

I don't think Coupe would have a problem with that track at all.

outside of the fact that is a good hooking track that is very street car/heads up friendly, its a really nice facility. It takes around 4 hours from the Dalton area to get there.

I find it hard to believe that you haven't been there before. The burnout box is almost like Dallas on a slope but not as steep, the track is straight and level but right after you cross the 1/4 it goes up hill pretty hard.

Here is a quick video of my wife and Gaazure running a pass for annyone wants to get an idea of what it looks like. I may have another with more coverage so I will look.
