Thats the problem, there are no spacers on the intake. Just the plate, and the Dominator adapter. The intake has a really tall plemum. I even got a Wilson adapter because its only 1 1/2" instead of 2". I hope everything fits under the hood.
Take a good look boys and girls. Theres more money sitting on that eng stand than I have in my whole truck. Should have bought Shankins car and saved you some money.:D

Are you kidding? You have more in transmissions, converters, and shifters than I have in BOTH my cars put together. The heads cost no more than a decent set of Ford heads. The crank, rods, and pistons, I re-used out of my old motor. I just put some new rings and bearings on them. The heads were about $3000.00 fully assembled with springs, titanium retainers, valves, etc... and that also included the intake manifold, all gaskets and attaching hardware. Including head gaskets, intake gaskets, and header gaskets. Its everything you need from the shortblock up! I really dont think there's much of a difference in price once you add everything up.

The GTX is one of my favorite cars of all time. I like 69 Road runner's as well. How bout a 68 Hemi Dart! The only problem is the prices of the older Mopars have gotten out of hand. A lot of them start at about $25,000 and up. Even replicas, conversions, and non-matching #'s cars are high. Im not sure how much my Scamp would bring, but Ive already had 3 or 4 people ask me to give them a price on it! It is such a nice car that Im going to hold on to it. I told them its not for sale. Its as solid as you will find for a car that old. It was a mom and pop car garage kept. Still had the origonal spare tire in it when I got it.

hah! Like I got that kinda money.... I was just wondering because somebody sent me a flyer about a Muscle Car Museum over on Franklin Road in Marietta that's only open on Saturdays from 10 to 6 and by appointment. 1148 Franklin Road, Suite J. 770-956-1227. The flyer says "Shelby's, COPO Camaro's, Chevelles, Vettes, Goats, Stangs, Hemi's & More."
The photo on it shows the 1968 Sox & Martin Hemi Cuda. and some other stuff in the background.....
So, I was just wondering if that place in your photos was here or somewhere else. I really enjoyed Floyd Garrett's place in TN and Jerry Juneman's Mopar Museum out in Kansas.

Those burst panels don't work as good as you think. Had a friend backfire on the starting line, and blew the 4 of the burst panels out as well as blew carb off.

hmm... well, the first year when we ran PRO with the nitrous motor, we used a wilson plate that had burst panels, and out of the many times we had backfires, never once did the carb get hurt. (in BG when we put .045/.045 in the fogger it back fired worse then ever, and we still went more rounds due to that plate).
