August 7th sounds good to me, but i cant stop you guys from going eles where.but if you want the best track around you will take the time and come to twigg's......
all you know what eatonton has to offer is a bumpy slick ass track that you have to line up crocked just to leave
and if you dont belive me just ask scott what the guard rail feels like under power......just ask quick whats in the woods when you cant stop on that short ass track, ask tony smith what the guard rail feels like when you knocking the k-member out from under the car as you try to leave on a killer tune up so go ahead and mess your mustangs up...and if i'm lying some one stop me now but everthing ive said is true. dallas looks after there own, reynolds only like it bracking racers, and i heard some one say some thing about lagrange.......lol your kidding rite. if you want the show just step up and commit and i`ll give you the best of the best..........Jimmy@Macon National Dragway most of you have my number but if not 706-818-0346 now the ball is in your court. but let me also say my 84 gt is now running and looking for some action so want some ,come get some.......................

I'm down for it if these guy will just show up. All those fags from Dallas love that place for some reason.:D I guess it helps them believe they have street cars when they live 5 miles from the track and drive in and back home. 10.5 might show to try and get his NUTZ back! :D

As nice as Twigg's is, I don't think anyone will argue for long. Well worth the drive and we look forward to racing there everytime.

As far as Tony (SUPERMAN) and Scotts guardrail incidents Scott has probably AVERAGED at least 1 pass every thurs. since 1995 and had 1 accident which happened to be in a new car . As for Tony he has AVERAGED more than Scott with only 1 accident whick happens to be with his new engine (more power). And Quick well we know he has had more than 1 mishap but only one at eatonton the worse being down in south ga. not at eatonton ,...not bashing at all just being fair;)

Yeah, its not like any of them could drive 100+ miles to another track, run low 9s and drive it back. My car won't do that but its not a race car and i have NO trailer.

Well I have never seen Twigg's keep running cars while there is a dragster still on the track turned sideways at the end sitting...
And you don't have to wear wading boots to use the bathrooms. :D
And you don't have to do a U trun to get to the return.
I will stop here.
Their is no comparison at all and I will be glad to run at Twigg's anytime.

Im with Chris ( Vortech) I know E-town is not the greatest track, but there is some of the best racing around there. Everyone that goes there has a ball. I have been to twiggs and it is a good track too, but I bet they wish they done half the business that E-town does. I believe Twiggs has a big problem getting the racing started I.E. an ambulance. Seems like I remember people setting around there most of the day waiting. I hope you have done a good job turning the place around from the old days and I look forward to returning there, but I dont believe I would go busting on the other tracks just to attempt to make yours look better. Thanks for listening. Just my 2 cents worth

E-town sure does have a crowd on Thursday nights. I bet it has more people then most tracks locally have on their "big" race days.
I have been to Twigg's since the Ambulance thing and was told that they got fired. Last 2X that we went the starting was early 1 time and right on time the next.
I think we may ride out to E-town tomorrow if any of you are going... Something about that place just keep's me coming. :D
The only thing that I see wrong with E-town is the return ramp and short cool down but I am slow enough that I have more than ample time to slow down even when I am bouncing off the guard rail at the finish line (which had nothing to do with the track condition but we won't got here).

I dont understand the attraction to E-town either but I bet all the other tracks would love to have there turnout. I wish I knew an area around here close that would allow a track in that county cause Id love to build one. I see the things I like and dislike about other tracks and think I could get one close to right.

but you take team bug, coupe preformance, redbull, GAAzureMach1 , and lots more they have came to twiggs this year
and we rocked the south, sure it's a long drive but if they will tell the truth they all had a blast.......
and one more thing before i go, i dont compare twiggs to eatonton, well i take that back our return road has the same paving as there track

I remember going down to twiggs when it was first built the end of the track still being gravel, no track prep at all, it had a bunch of dumb asses running the place, there was no ambulance
This was 7-8 yrs ago prob more, needless to say the bad taste is still there.
BTW SGMP is the best track around, just to clarify your slanted view.

Ha I hear ya on the bad taste.. I have some now that I can't shake out.
Twigg's has changed management and it is 100% better than it ever was.
SGMP sounds and look's sweet but way to far for us to trailer 5-6 cars. Twigg's will work fine for us and they do better with the kid's than any track we have been to so far.

Jimmy I look forward to coming back to Twiggs. I like the track . I see all tracks have problems. Dallas has seemed to allways been good, but the last race it seemed that it took forever to get through the bracket junk and there was long periods with no cars running. I hear yall are doing a good job and will return. Of course all free passes are nice! :D

Hell I like the place. And just to clarify I was there with Coupe and Redbull every single time they raced (just so you know)......My intention was to make sure that the previous verbal vomit didnt lead people to believe that track prep was the sole cause of the accidents you mentioned and I know this because I was there.....SO once again understand what Im saying 1)Twiggs = :D
2)eatonton=:D just trying to be fair you can have a good day or bad day at any track....and an accident can happen at any...hell it can even happen off the track( Redbull ) note...I was once again there at twiggs when he loaded the car a little but too far foward on the trailer (look out winch)...you spoke of gaazure ..if my memory serves me correctly I seem to remember him having a little trouble getting his car off of the trailer (once again I was there) Hell Ive even introduced myself to you at your track. Like I said TWIGGS=:D ....COOL
Thanks Chris

I like both twiggs and e-town. I hvae had my best 60ft's at twiggs on motor. "never sprayed it there" I love the track, the prep and the guys do a good job. I jsut wish they had a good selection of fuel......
E-tow is also a good track its just hit or miss on hooking. But you cant beat the atmosphere! its a cool as place to be on a thursday night, thats for sure. The also have all the fuel and nitrous you want...
I hope twiggs gets a few more races this year I like the track and will go there as much as I can this year.
Jimmy it was nice to meet you last time I was there. I have the car that is in my avatar..........
I personally would like to see the race at twiggs. Plenty or room, hooks good, nice atmosphere, and you get a good amount of runs in.

I relise it has changed alot from then until now, I have been to every track there has been in ga for the past 20yrs or so, currently we run the full nhra divison 2 circut as well as the national events in the Southeast, and indy. Then we run some select ihra national events and points meets as well as some super stock/stock combo and grude races. My partner used to own/run fairburn dragway in the late 70's. Honeslty I dont really like montogomery very much but, most of the time there is good air even some mine shaft conditions so I guess I cant hate that too much. I may consider taking you up on the pass however because we need to do some testting here soon before the middle of july.
